    Highly disappointed!! When you go to an “upscale restaurant” with the reputation of Del Frisco, you do not expect to be in a downtown bar. It’s ironic the first thing you see when you walk in the door is a sign for a strict dress code, including No Jerseys and the majority of the restaurant is football fans in jerseys. Now the food, the majority of the menu was unavailable, including their ribeyes they’re recognized for. We started with French Onion soup which came to the table burnt. We sent back and they did deliver new ones which were delicious, but a place like this should look before serving something that burnt. We ordered the steak sandwiches as the waitress stated they were out of their prime steaks. The manager had to come over and inform us they had no more steak for the sandwiches. So ordered burgers. $25 Steakhouse burger! While it tasted very good, it was smaller than I can get at my local diner for $8, similar for my wife’s salad. To top it off I ordered an Old Fashion, that they did not have their typical bourbon, so they asked if I wanted a different type. I understand top shelf vs standard, but if that’s because the restaurant is out, it should be stated we have to charge you more, not wait until the bill comes. The manager Tim did end up taking the soups off the bill and giving the regular price for the drink, after we said something. Unfortunately, after spending the day in Philly, going to the theater and expecting a high quality Del Frisco dinner, we left extremely disappointed and would not return.

    Probably one of the best steaks in the city of Philadelphia! Filet mignon was outstanding. The bar had a modern and refreshing look to it. Bartenders were very attentive.

    We waited almost 15 minutes before someone came to the table. Service was so slow, our waiter apologized but it was just a very poor experience. Food was warm not hot, we had to cancel our dessert because it was taking too long. Overall very poor dining experience.

    Service was absolutely horrible. Sat for 45 min after we finished eating with our plates not cleared.

    Loud understaffed and poorly climate-controlled. Our food was overcooked and had to be reordered. No manager came by to apologize or check on things as customary in restaurants with this price point.

    Roasted half chicken was super dry and no where near half a chicken. It was a very small portion. A diner in my party got ill shortly after eating the shrimp cocktail. French onion soup and branzino were tasty. Server was slow to introduce himself, as we were sitting for quite a while before our server asked if we wanted a drink. Then brought the wrong drinks…..twice. Overall, below average experience which as surprising carrying the DelFrisco name.

    They happened to be out of several gins by 5:30 PM that would be always available in a well stocked bar - Tanqueray, Tanqueray Ten, Bombay Sapphire. However, they had our local Bluecoat, which is always a good martini choice too. The staff looked a little stressed, and it showed when we had to wait 15 minutes after being seated to put in our order and anothe 20 minutes for the first course to arrive. The main course arrived shorrly afterwards, and while the primary dish was up to expected standards, the sides were served almost cold. We did make it to or show at the Academy on time. So in summary, it was less than I would have expected at a Del Frisco establuishemnt.

    The food was good. However the service was less than stellar. The server, I believe her name was Gabby appeared less than enthusiastic. We had to request basic items such as napkins and straws. The napkins that were brought to our table were not restaurant quality they were more like an industrial type napkin. When we asked for straws she appeared rather annoyed. This was my first experience here and will definitely be my last due to the level of service received this evening.
