My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with dinner at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in Dallas TX. My wife said it is the best place she's ever had dinner. I rank it in the top 3 of all the 5-star restaurants in which we have celebrated our anniversary. Our waiter, John, was terrific and it was a delight to have him serve us. I am glad I chose Del Frisco's Dallas for our 50th anniversary dinner. Our waiter, John, gave us two glasses of sparkling white wine ("on him") to start our evening. The service, food, and ambiance were all spectacular and just what I hoped for. Valet parking was right out front and was only $5 for 3 hours (we tipped the valets). All-in-all, it was a wonderful evening. I highly recommend Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse to anyone looking for a great place to have a wonderfully enjoyable and memorable dinner experience. My hat goes off to the entire staff at Del Frisco's. Thanks for the memories.

Our server Mason was wonderful and very attentive. He has the best personality so we request him each time we visit for lunch! Definitely an asset to Dels

It was a birthday dinner for my husband. The moment I walked up (the door ) was held for me and the evening was superb from there! We had an amazing seat ... food was prepared to our liking and service incredibly awesome ... O did I mention our side dishes were served to us! Just an amazing evening all around and we will be back !!!!! My cocktail was the bomb!!!!

Was looking forward to a good steak while staying in uptown Dallas, decided to give Del Frisco's Double Eagle a shot. The atmosphere in the restaurant is superb, and the service staff were excellent, our server Rachel was top notch. Now, onto the food, I preface this by stating I have no problem with paying for a good meal, but this was not our experience with the food at Del Frisco's. We started the meal with cocktails, which were pretty good, and went with the crab cake as an appetizer, this too was decent. We ordered the wedge salad, and they were kind enough to split this up in the kitchen for my wife and me, it was alright, somewhat lacking on flavor we've come to expect from the wedge. Wife and I both ordered the filet mignon, hers medium well and mine medium, for the sides she went with the loaded baked potato and I had the grilled asparagus. My wife does not care for a steak with any red in it, a bit pink is okay, but she likes it done, well her steak was cooked more along the lines of medium, far from her medium well preference. The server was kind enough to notice it was not cooked correctly, as she was going to eat it anyway, but the took it back to the kitchen for her, and when it was brought back it really wasn't much better. My medium filet was cook more like a medium rare, and not much flavor, but I chose to go ahead and eat it, though I left a large portion on the plate, for it just wasn't very good. The loaded baked potato was pretty good, but my grilled asparagus was under cooked, under seasoned, and the woody stems were left on the stalks. Again, I have no problem paying for good food, unfortunately this was not our experience at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse in uptown Dallas. In hindsight we would have selected a different dining venue, for the quality of food was not in line with what I paid for.
