Service was great and food tastes great but we spent $130+ on a 32oz prime tomahawk and 30% of it was so fatty/chewy that it was inedible. The parts that were edible were great though.

The server I think her name is Jessica was very kind. She offered us all the specials and gave us a birthday treat. The whole stand was very inviting in the ambience was top-tier. It felt great to be at a high level high-quality location!

I used to love this restaurant. The last time we went, we were disappointed but thought we'd give it another try. The salad came out of a bag, but at least we could eat it. The tuna came to the table raw. The loaded baked potato tasted old. The cheese was hard. The scallop dish came with 4 small scallops that was it. They were RANCID. Literally horrible, fishy, left a horrible after taste. With all the choices in the city, there is no reason to go here.

From the moment we entered, we felt like we were not welcomed. Receptionist didn’t welcome us nor smiled. She just asked forcefully for our name and insisted there wasn’t such a name on reservation. I had to show her my OpenTable app’s booking and she then replied “ok fine”. She didn’t give us instructions on what we should do - hang around till we are called or something. We were simply ignored. We told her we will head to the bar while waiting and she replied “you can do whatever you want” Server Sherry was perhaps our biggest shock of the evening. She came, didn’t introduce herself. We asked for the olive oil to go with the bread and the wine menu . She disappeared and came back after 15min and asked if we are ok. When we reminded her of the olive oil and wine menu, she replied “oh you all are asking me to do a lot of things, I need time.” How are we suppose to start when we don’t even have the basic things like a menu? Things got worse. We decided on the type wine, but I couldn’t see clearly as it was dark. I asked her if one of the item was Amarone, and she replied “I’m sorry, but you’ll need to look closer. If you need help, we have 3 excellent sommeliers to help you, it’s their job.” I replied that I wasn’t asking for advise, I was merely asking her to read it to verify the name. Eventually we had to turn on our torch lights and verify ourselves while she waited impatiently. When we gave her our choice of wine, and pointed it on the menu, she replied “don’t give me the name, just read out the code for me, and also read out the page number the wine is on” Despite this, the sommeliers came back twice with the incorrect bottle of wine and looked upset when we told him that it wasnt what we ordered. Finally, sherry came back and constantly interrupted our conversations without the courtesy of saying “excuse me or sorry to interrupt “, she simply just stopped our conversations repeatedly and hurried us to finish our dinner.

BOOKED A TBLAE FOR 630. I ARRIVED AT 5;45. DRANK AT THE BAR WITH GUESTS BY 7:15 TABLE WAS STILL NOT READY SO HAD TO EAT AT THE BAR. NOT HAPPY! EITHER THEY ARE OVERBOOKING THE RESTAURANT OR THE CHECK IN MAITRE-D DIDNT KNOWWHAT SHE WAS DOING OR PROPERLY SUPERVISING TABLE TURNOVER MANAGEMENT.

honestly Del Friscos is not as good since the Landry group acquired was my top steak spot in NYC and now there are 10 ahead of it the room is so nice and the ambience makes it special and while the food is good i miss some of the menu items that were on the menu or specials prior to the acquisiton it is still a great spot but now is one of many instead of the one and only

The experience was great!! Had reservations on a Sat night and was busy but the waiter and staff were awesome!!!
