Dehesa is a charcuterie and tapas bar inspired by the cuisine of Spain and Italy. Dehesa opened in January 2008 and is the sister restaurant to Salt Yard in Fitzrovia, Opera Tavern in Covent Garden and Ember Yard in Soho, offering sharing dishes served in a relaxed environment.
The restaurant is named after the Dehesa- a unique woodland area in Spain which is home to the black-footed Ibérico pigs – said to produce the best Jamon in the world. This reflects our commitment to quality and provenance and our dedication to carefully sourced products.

Dehesa has been my default Restaurant for over 15 years, it is always good. It seemed very quiet at our last visit, and they've changed the batter on the courgette flowers (first world problem). Nice staff, good food.

Had the most delish supper - we went for the chefs tasting selection and it was fantasic. The service was also brilliant and we could sit outside and watch the world go by. 10/10 - would come again.

Having been a diner at Dehesa since it first opened it was disappointing to return after a little while and find standards have not been maintained. The food was ordinary at best and in the case of the tortilla very poor. We dined early Sunday evening and it tasted as if many of the dishes were reheated and not freshly cooked. Flavours were bland and not innovative as they previously have been. Sadly we will not return and instead go to some of the other much better alternate Tapas restaurants that have maintained standards whilst expanding.

Ideally located if you're shopping in the west End or heading to a theatre. The restaurant is very popular so noise levels are quite high, but this is made up for in the quality of the food, which is outstanding. tables are very "cosy", so don't bring too many shopping bags with you!

Relaxed atmosphere and nice dishes - the plates are very small though so keep that in mind when ordering. Service was unfortunately very slow: we sat down at 6pm and the last dish was brought to us at 9pm. Granted we were a table of 7, but we only ordered 15 dishes - that's just 2 each!

I have been here a few times before, Food is consistent , service & initial greeting very good. Which is hard to find in London these days!!

Delicious tapas. Great service. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Turned up with an extra diner (booked for 3 but ended up being 4 of us) and they quickly and efficiently sorted the table out so we could all dine.
