Dehesa is a charcuterie and tapas bar inspired by the cuisine of Spain and Italy. Dehesa opened in January 2008 and is the sister restaurant to Salt Yard in Fitzrovia, Opera Tavern in Covent Garden and Ember Yard in Soho, offering sharing dishes served in a relaxed environment.
The restaurant is named after the Dehesa- a unique woodland area in Spain which is home to the black-footed Ibérico pigs – said to produce the best Jamon in the world. This reflects our commitment to quality and provenance and our dedication to carefully sourced products.

This Valentine's week, experience a taste of the Mediterranean at Dehesa with our Valentine's Head Chef's tasting menu, inspired by the flavours of Spain and Italy. This year, not only do you get a taste of the Southern European lifestyle, but you also have a chance to live the life yourself. Every table that prebooks the Valentine's Head Chef's tasting menu from 10th-16th February will be entered into a draw to win a romantic trip for two to Logrono, the historic capital of La Rioja, Spain. Indulge in dishes such as Pan fried Cornish cod, Pil Pil Tiger Prawns , Puglian Burrata, Chargrilled Ribeye, Black truffle and ricotta ravioli, Chorizo Picante. Head's chef tasting menu is subject to seasonal changes.

We arrived and they cancelled our reservations. They said they had a power cut, couldn’t make food and couldn’t take card payments but we saw other diners having food arrive and making card payments. As a regular customer we were confused by this. We were left with no reservation on a Saturday evening. Very disappointing.

An absolute gem. Really glad to have found Dehesa. It was just what we wanted for a special valentines meal: great food and good service and lovely friendly, cosy vibes. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Quirky bar. Food very good. Tables are small so dishes can’t come out at the same time which does spoil the experience a little. The main door when open blows a terrible draft into the restaurant. However overall nice experience and lovely staff

Food and drink was tasty, with lots of options. Food comes out at different times though which would have been good to know or been told. High seating was slightly uncomfortable for a big group.

We’ve had a lovely lunch at Dehesa. The food and service were first class. Highlights were the pil-pil prawns, the chorizo and beans, and bunelos (doughnuts).

I’ve been to Dehesa previously and it was great but unfortunately this time we were seated near to the door and it was FREEZING. I had to eat with my winter coat on as when we asked to move, it wasn’t possible. Not the most enjoyable experience but the food and staff were lovely. The toilets were not very clean - one was almost overflowing and the other needed attention.

Fabulous food. I recommend the steak and the prawns. everything is fabulous to be fair. We had the same menu which was perfect. I love not having to make decisions. The vino Verde was a delicious wine for an afternoon late lunch. Service was very pleasing as well.
