Dehesa is a charcuterie and tapas bar inspired by the cuisine of Spain and Italy. Dehesa opened in January 2008 and is the sister restaurant to Salt Yard in Fitzrovia, Opera Tavern in Covent Garden and Ember Yard in Soho, offering sharing dishes served in a relaxed environment.
The restaurant is named after the Dehesa- a unique woodland area in Spain which is home to the black-footed Ibérico pigs – said to produce the best Jamon in the world. This reflects our commitment to quality and provenance and our dedication to carefully sourced products.

Great food and good service - our waiter was attentive and the food came out in a timely matter. We were at a table in the corner though and had to leave early as it just became so warm under the lighting (and this was in November...) that it became uncomfortable. Otherwise no complaints though and would go again.

There was a young woman serving us and she was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. She made the evening an even lovlier experience. The food and drink was fabulous as I would expect from the Salt Yard group. Thanks for a great evening.

My friend and I were very, very sick the night after we ate there, so we wouldn’t go back unfortunately.

We had the tasting menu between two of us. Unfortunately too many dishes came out to the table at the same time thus some became cold before being able to eat them which was a little disappointkng. I would order single dishes if visiting again.

Booked late so got the last perch in the restaurant which was comfortable but a little noisy due to location. Food was excellent as was the service by Piedro (sorry if spelt wrong). Gave excellent recommendations. Food and drink promptly served with only our bread to mop up sauce from prawns delayed. Wine choice superb with some interesting choices, London prices as expected. Overall a definite recommendation and not our first time.

We ordered the large cheese and charcuterie plate and had to ask whether we had been given the small one in error. Apparently not. We waited for over 10 minutes for someone to ask how the food was but had to attract the attention of the server. The restaurant was at less than half capacity so no obvious reason for being ignored. After asking, the staff clearly then had an issue with us. We were made to feel most unwelcome. We were offered 10% off as a result of slow service. We didn't ask for it but 3 tables nearby were served prior to ours after arriving later. Despite the 10% discount we were compelled to ask for the service charge to be removed also. Very disappointed.

Such a friendly team of staff made us feel very welcome - the food was excellent loved everything - only disappointment was my coffee I requested a flat white - it wasn’t good didn’t drink it ! But I would defo come again
