Vancouver Now Has Its Very-Own Georgian Restaurant!
Dediko, owned by a mother-son team, serves the country’s famous stuffed breads and dumplings out of a cheery Evergreen Boulevard cafe. Dediko’s menu is stacked with the classics of that region, with a number of different khachapuri, soup-filled dumplings called khinkali, walnut-heavy vegetable dishes called phkali, and various grilled meats called mtsvadi. Also coming from the grill, Dediko’s kababi consists of a kebab-like grilled ground chicken patty with Georgian spices, folded in a roll of lavash flatbread. Nico Bakh is partial to a homey dish called lobio, a bean stew served in an imported Georgian pot, complete with a side of fermented vegetables and a Georgian cornbread called mchadi.

    Perfect for a rainy day! The dumplings and kachapuri are done perfectly and are so comforting. Everything is flavorful but not overly so, just a great place for when you are looking for something a little different

    Great food and service! Recommend to book ahead like a day or so they are very busy but the wait is worth it for sure.

    I sat outside for lunch, which was very pleasant but it is right next to a busy road so there's some traffic noise. The food is fantastic and the service was excellent. Definitely worth going to, especially if you've never had Georgian food before. I think if I'd sat inside, the ambiance would have been very nice. It's a cozy little place. Definitely recommend making reservations.

    Food and service are both great. We sat outside. It was nice with a heater above us, while we could enjoy the beautiful sunset. Will definitely be going back.

    What a gorgeous place! So tranquil and beautiful….ahhhhh…lots of wood, soft flowy fabrics, soothing music… Our food was amazing. The server was happy to explain the dishes - she’s Georgian! Super fun to learn new things about a culture! I’ll return soon!

    A great alternative to the many beer taverns in the area. Food was unique and delicious. Service was friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful - quiet, serene snd peaceful. A great date location.

    2nd time there. Food was amazing, love the lamb and cheese boat. Music was a little too loud this time. Overall great!
