Michelin-starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias merges the Spanish cuisine of his family with his love of Mexico for his debut London restaurant, Decimo.

Expect lots of flavour - Gambas Rojas, mezcal cocktails, and a dramatically different tortilla. Situated on the 10th floor of The Standard, London, Decimo is uniquely positioned with floor-to-ceiling windows and dramatic views across the London skyline and is accessible by our exterior red-pill lift.

5pm reservation, found the staff attentive and informative regarding the menu. Whilst fairly quiet when we arrived, it was buzzing when we left a over two hours later. That said, we were put under no pressure to vacate our table. A real gem of a restuarant, will definatley return. NB The views from the toilets were amazing

I like the dedicated entrance that has lifts straight to the 10th floor. I had a small trolley suitcase which I was politely told would not be permitted on the 10th floor and was escorted to hotel reception where it was easily taken custody of. On the 10th floor I was greeted by a very nice chap who kindly offered me a table with a bit more space as he said the tables by the windows may be a bit cramped. The decor is very unique and quite a departure from the surroundings outside of King’s Cross. The staff are friendly and very attentive, in the spirit of the restaurant. The mocktail I had was very good. We shared a selection of tapas dishes and all were good, though portions are small for the price. It’s central London and you have to expect to pay for that. I have to say had I been drinking I’d have loved to try some of the cocktails! The bar looks a very good spot for another occasion.

What happened? Used to be so good. Music was too loud. Service tapered off halfway through the meal, incredibly expensive and £76 in service & gratuity! Would have been justified if the food was at least outstanding. Felt utterly fleeced. Good decor though.

The service was friendly but super slow! We had a fab night but I expected a little more from the service. We were celebrating a birthday and they seemed to forget about that. Food is pricey but okay. Cocktails were nice but quite strong. Friendly staff

I don't want to give the glowing review for Decimo that it deserves because I want to keep it all to myself. Such a fantastic experience , the perfect combination of excellence in location , decor , food , staff , ambience , food , staff (I know . .had big up the food and staff again). You will enjoy, if not love this place.

A perfect evening with family and great friends. Everything was just wonderful, the food, exceptional and the staff were just fabulous and fun. The views and the loos well worth it too. A must for foodies.
