Disappointing Dining Experience - Overpriced and Underwhelming. My wife and I recently had dinner at the restaurant and unfortunately, it was a significant letdown on multiple fronts. This place is exuberantly overpriced for very mediocre food with little atmosphere and sub-par service. One glaring example of a vegetable side dish was a small solitary charred leek sliced in two and served with romesco, priced at an eye-watering £13. Not only was it a minuscule portion, but it was also unremarkable in taste. Despite an abundance of staff, most appeared confused and uncoordinated. It took about 10 minutes after ordering our wine to be informed that it wasn't available. Opting for an alternative resulted in another 15-minute wait, by which time our starters had begun to go cold. The acoustics in the restaurant are dreadful. The music was blaring yet failed to muffle the conversations of the people at the table just 20 cm away from ours, creating a rather uncomfortable dining environment. The menu itself was a huge letdown. The most Mexican item on offer were the limes! As for the small croquet, priced at £5.50, it was laughably overpriced. The pork belly main was a disaster – clearly just warmed up in a sous vide and not finished on the grill or pan. It tasted bland and merely poached. While the view from the terrace is quite nice, the experience was marred by being served a pre-mixed Negroni in a plastic glass, and to add insult to injury, an automatic 15% service charge. The beautiful views of the Grade I listed Kings Cross hotel are obstructed, hidden behind macrame decor covering the entire restaurant window. In summary, this restaurant is not worth your time or money. The potential of the location is completely overshadowed by poor execution in food, service, and overall dining experience. Save yourself the disappointment and dine elsewhere

First time at Decimo and therefore decided to try the Summer Set Menu Del Dia as a general introduction to the standard of food. It’s a large restaurant with interesting decor, nice atmosphere and polite/attentive staff. Unfortunately the food was very average and certainly didn’t pack the flavour punch we were hoping for …… surprisingly bland ! What a shame ….. we were hoping this might become a regular haunt but not on the basis of this experience. Sorry ….. just being honest.

Food is nice but unexceptional, service is pretty good, the music is too loud but the views are great. However this place is sooooo expensive, there are plenty of great tapas restaurants in London that would come in at two thirds of the price.

We just about tried some of everything, and it was all incredible. As most reviews have noted - don't miss the omelette! Food was all flavourful, service was lovely, margaritas were excellent! Though we weren't sat near a window, the views of St Pancras Station, and across London are fabulous. Even from the loo! Definitely give it a go!

Mains extremely small and expensive. Food average . Waiters not trained / didn't know menu. Waited for 20 minutes after our reservation for our table to be ready.

The food was good and the atmosphere/view (especially from the bar) is good. Service was very slow though and not very attentive and the music extremely loud so it's hard to have a conversation with your table. Overall pretty disappointing.

My friends and I ordered the pork belly tacos and Spanish tortilla. The dishes were cold. We brought this up with our waiter, who called the manager. She apologised but that was it. We would have expected some sort of compensation, as the quality was below standard. We were quite disappointed with the overall dining experience. Great views of King's Cross though.

Very well balanced place. 10/10 for location, overseeing Renesance Hotel in KCSP! Roof top, spaciouse interior, excellent acoustics, very well trained staff. Pricy, but worth it for a special event!

I booked this for my birthday and it was such a disappointment. Service was inconsistent - sometimes slow but then rushed for example a delay for drinks and removing dishes when they weren’t finished. The food was incredibly overpriced for disappointingly small portions. The vegetable dishes in particular. We were then moved to the lounge area after our table booking had ended and encouraged to stay longer. No one gave us a menus, forgot we were there, we struggled to get anyone’s attention because it was so busy and loud. We had to ask for our bill multiple times. The women’s toilets weren’t working for part of the evening. A real shame as wanted to enjoy a birthday celebration.
