Food slightly salty but also very tasty so all good. Drinks-even the “middle of the road” drinks were pretty experimental. I wasn’t blown away by the drinks. I had the last kiss and the love in the night. The old fashioned was good. The people though were super friendly and the atmosphere was to die for. Absolutely stunning.

Exquisite cuisine and exceptional cocktails! Dearly Beloved presented a sophisticated ambiance ideal for an intimate evening. Each meticulously crafted cocktail complemented the small plates perfectly. I recommend sharing one of their decadent desserts to complete the experience.

Would suggest saving tables by service door as last option Water tasted really bad Didn’t plan to have food Looked good as we saw items coming out to other guests . Will try next time

This place was very beautiful and unique. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The drinks were so good! I am a gin fan, so my personal fav drink was Shadow Laurels.

Came for the cocktails, impressed by the food, the aesthetic, and the service! Creative and tasty cocktails and the best zero-proof drinks that I’ve had in Chicago. Met the owner outside as we were leaving and he was so kind. Really wanted to know what to improve on…but we had no notes! 10/10

Will not go back. The decor is gorgeous (except for the bathroom which doesn’t match the vibe at all) and the service was good. But for an expensive bar whose main feature is inventive cocktails it was a huge disappointment. The cocktails range from $18-32, and I am questioning if any of them actually had alcohol in them. Here’s what we ordered: Shadow Laurels - our server highly recommended. Tasted like a La Croix. Looked like a La Croix in a basic low ball glass with a sphere of ice. The taste wasn’t off putting - it just didn’t taste like anything. Last Kiss - everyone was ordering this so we did too. Little more presentation as it’s a huge wine glass on a wooden tray with some incense burning. But it tastes like milk combined with sparkling water. Hard to choke down. Burnt Fennel Margarita - tasted like the exact same margarita you get at a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. There were no interesting flavors. The piece of fennel candy used as a garnish had more flavor than any of the drinks. Pisco Sour - best drink at the table, but nothing special. On a positive note, we also ordered the Mango Sticky Rice and it was not only delicious but an absolutely gorgeous dish. The food menu is extremely limited, so it’s weird that the food completely outshined the grossly overpriced cocktails. But to be honest, if the cocktails had been $10 they would still be overpriced.

ahhhhmazing ambiance. brand new place so it was quite empty. Would love to come back when it’s jumping and a little busy. Also, drinks are so exquisite that I didn’t even know what I was drinking, but the adjectives describing them helped a lot.

The ambience is very vibey…eclectic decor & cool furniture. Very dramatic art installations behind the bar. They are clearly still working out some of the service kinks as is standard for a brand new spot. The food was delicious. Drinks were good. Just want to note — don’t assume that your guest is a cocktail novice or afraid to try something new in your pitch. Based on prices, we think it’s probably more of a special occasion spot, which is why we were there :)
