What Dear John’s is to steak, Dear Jane’s will be to seafood. Seasoned chefs and entrepreneurs Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin have teamed up again for Dear Jane's. Taking full advantage of the stunning marina view, the focus is on classic American seafood dishes prepared simply with the highest-quality ingredients by seasoned chefs. From Oysters Rockefeller to Shrimp Louie, Surf ‘n Turf and Crepes Zuzette, the menu hews to those of some of the most legendary seafood restaurants of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. It will feel familiar and upscale, yet updated and approachable.

This sensibility will be on full display with hand-mixed tartare, classic caviar service, and professionally fileted whole fish. The layout of the split-level room and spacing between booths and tables are ideal for this personalized service that is begging to come back in style in this dining room.

Not a large menu. No other parking except valet. A large very dark bar with no view Service was great!

Overall, a wonderful dining experience before the fireworks. There were beautiful views of the marina, also. Everything was top notch, especially our friendly and attentive server, Alex. Excellent dinner choices, also. The only reasons I didn’t rate the value 4 stars was because we thought the valet parking was overpriced and not necessary, considering we could have parked the car in one of the many parking spots twenty feet away on our own, and we were charged $10 for bread. Not something any other restaurant has charged us for. Considering we each ate one piece, had we known we were being charged for it we would have passed. Guess we should have expected that because it’s considered high end. Other than that it was a very nice dinner and restaurant with excellent food.

Wonderful July 4th dinner. Great serving staff and because of the location we were able to enjoy the fireworks with our desert and coffee. I would highly recommend this place and will endeavor to return.

We LOVED this place when it opened… but between the 2 of us it came out to $400?????? Never going back… how can this be???? I dont drink and my husband had one old fashioned….

I do believe that there should be bottomless Bloody Janes, as well as Mimosas during brunch. If not it should be in a different part of the menu to avoid confusion. Other than that, a lovely place to dine!

From the starters, Shrimp Louie salad, calamari, entrees, salmon, chicken Parmesan, lobster pasta diablo, cioppino, sides mashed potatoes & mushrooms, the delicious bread, to the service, DELICIOUS and EXCELLENT! Everyone enjoyed their dining experience and food.
