Welcome to Dean Martin's Lanning's, a fine dining steak & seafood experience. We offer five star, tuxedo dinner service & have a lounge area that features specialty cocktails, live music, and more. Our wine menu was awarded the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2022, and we were voted locally as the best Fine Dining, Steak, Seafood, and more in Akron, Ohio. Helmed by a spectacular view of Yellow Creek, our restaurant offers a truly unique take on what fine dining means today. Why go downtown when you can stay in town?

Please note that Lanning's has a business casual dinner dress code policy. Shorts are not permitted in our main dining room. Dress shorts are permitted in the lounge. Please visit our website for more details or call us at 330-666-1159.

Tremendous memorable establishment, with incredible food. The selections oddly were like everything we love so we had a hard time choosing. ended up with the special Bourbon Ribeye and it was beyond amazing. The atmosphere is Vegas like with homage to the brat pack, very very classy and comfortable. My only issue was the price, I️ get it but it was tough to swallow and prohibitive of making this my weekly haunt. Granted I️ had two drinks and two appetizers, so that’s on me. Still a must and I️ am so happy to have spent my anniversary there too.

Overall a good experience. There as a gaffe with the wine: Ordered the Sancerre and it was unavailable then substituted with the Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc and it too was out of stock. We finally settled on a bottle of the Flora Springs Soliloquy which was in stock and quite tasty. Either they need to update the wine list or provide what they claim they have. Food was quite good but rather pricey overall.

Bone in filet out of this world. Cooked perfectly. Tender and delicious. Paired w scalloped potatoes and asparagus. Probably one of the top five meals of my life.

While the service at Lanning’s was good, the food didn’t meet expectations, especially for the price. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a classic steakhouse feel and a nice view of the stream and woods outside. The wine was enjoyable, but the food was underwhelming. The scallops were overcooked, the salad lacked flavor, and the whiskey ribeye was disappointing with far too much whiskey poured on, making it taste more like a shot than a steak. The filet was the best part of the meal. Having recently moved from Cincinnati, we may be spoiled by Jeff Ruby’s, where the service, atmosphere, and food are consistently impeccable. Unfortunately, Lanning’s didn’t live up to those standards, and we didn’t feel the meal was worth the cost.

What a wonderful experience we had here for our sixth wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted with assurances that dietary restrictions (I have Celiac disease) would be well managed and that there would be gluten-free rolls for me (a rarity indeed!) through the terrific and impeccable service plus the fantastic and perfectly prepared meals and cocktails, this was certainly a pleasantly memorable dining experience. I am looking forward to returning soon.

Tried once for birthday- fair at best for the price. Great ambiance in lounge however waiter was robot like- no eye contact, attentive at first then no where to be found when we were ready to order.
