    The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The furniture was a little run down (i.e. our table was pretty wobbly, tears in the chairs and chips in the table) and it was a little loud to have a private conversation but the ambiance was very nice. The art, lighting and theme of it was excellent as well.

    It was a good experience overall. My only comment or suggestion would be when you have an item on the menu that says pappardelle with beef and pork ragu then the dish should have beef and pork in it. I ordered that dish and could not find any beef or pork in it. The flavor was good but it was just pasta and sauce. The other food was great.The service was a little rushed, the atmosphere was exactly what we needed to be able to enjoy conversation with family.

    Very disappointed. Upon arrival realized this was a tourist trap. Dimly lit hallway leading to not so clean restrooms, scuffed up table. Friendly service but food was less than chain restaurant quality. Fried calamari was dry and included tiny, tiny shrimp. Two “tastes” of macaroni were a gloppy carbonara and a fair bolognese. Rolled out without ordering an entree.

    Really upset about our experience. We have been to D.B.A. before and loved it. We came tonight for Sweetest Day. Order the muscle- hands down the best!!! They were clearly short servers. Our serve was very kind but we could not get drink refills when clearly empty for some time. Then came the meals I ordered the scallops my husband ordered medium rare steak. Food came I my scallops were clearly under a warmer for a while. My husband’s steak the waitress watched him cut she said “oh that is well done.” So she took it to have it redone. I ate my scallops and we waited and watched multiple steaks come out. When I was done with my meal my husband approached the waitress and said we would just take the bill. She came over and said she would take the steak off the bill (which was crazy since we never received it) and offered a free desert. I don’t care so much about the money it o sat for 25 minutes eating my meal while my husband watched- odd! Really disappointing experience and even more the flip response. We paid the bill and tipped the waitress but so disappointed that we won’t be back.

    This was our first time at DBA. We arrived as they were opening. Our first impressions were low. The patio area was still cluttered with trash from the previous night. They sat us right next to a couple, too close, even though there were plenty of seats available, which cut into our privacy of conversation… The overall atmosphere was nice though. Our server was Amazingly attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The food started off great. The appetizer (Tomato Confit) was absolutely delicious!! Our main course was good at best. I had the duck breast and short rib, the wife had the New York Steak, it all tasted like it was all seasoned the same. Again, was good, but we have had much better. When I think of a restaurant for an evening out, I associate the idea with the type of food I enjoyed, DBA just didn’t standout with a “wow” on any given topic. We will go again, because the it wasn’t bad, but I it wasn’t a “we need to come back” kind of experience. Cost was maybe a little high for quality of food, but wasn’t too expensive for the overall experience.

    Appetizers sounded so good we had 3 , was more than enough for a meal for 2 , cocktails were excellent as well

    Wine list was short but disappointed because waitress returned twice to say that they where out of my choices. She then brought a bottle that she knew they had and we took it. Same thing happened with dessert. No chocolate Mousse. Food was fine except they arrived with out main course right in the middle of our salads. Their were 4 of us with no room for any additonal plates. I had them take back the courses until we finished our salads. About 10 minutes. I questioned who sent the order without checking on our status. No response. Not a typical Dante resturant

    Overall it was a disappointing experience. We had a vegan eater with us and it was almost like they did not know what it was despite calling in advance and hearing there were two vegan options. This was not our first time here and it used to be so much better.
