"High-Tea Time Experience" is back at Dawn A.M. Eatery! Treat yourself and indulge in the only luxurious High-Tea experience on the Southside of Chicago. 🤩Beautifully arranged tiers of savory bites and treats, accompanied by fragrant teas and cocktails crafted with Pierre Ferrand's finest spirits starting at just $60 per person. Please keep in mind gratuity and taxes will be collected. Guests without tickets will not be allowed access to this event. No-shows and cancellations will not be refunded and a strict 90-minute table time will be enforced. For guests with dietary restrictions please call more than a week in advance to see if accommodations can be made. No accommodations will be made the week of the event. (Menu On Our Website)

Diner beware: Tower menus are preset, no subs, no vegan options or accommodations for allergies although the server inquires as to allergies, that just means those things will be removed not altered. There’s no description at booking as to what to expect food wise & the manager crudely said “did anyone think to call ahead” when brought to his attention after he asked us what info was on the open table listing. Was not very knowledgeable to be the manager. It’s 2024, food allergies and vegetarian/vegan options should be standard even with a preset menu, particularly on a non-refundable pre-paid experience. After a bit of back & forth the manager did accommodate the vegan guests but I felt the discussion was rude and embarrassing. The staff as a whole was amazing, fantastic service & decorum until then. Perhaps add an option to select dietary restrictions at booking so as to plan ahead for these accommodations. Drinks were very good & priced well. Also this is not on a rooftop as some may have thought from IG. Appropriate scenery for photo ops. Overall it was a lovely experience & the young man playing the violin was a perfect touch. Recommend he have a QR code/board for tipping as we are almost a cashless society. Still hoping to repeat the experience with a different group of friends soon as well as visit the indoor restaurant. Excellent experience! We had a number of picky eaters in our part, yet everyone enjoyed their food. The catfish, mac and cheese, and potroast were especially good.

We all had great time at Dawn Eatery, all of our foods were delicious. Service was prompt, dining area was clean, pristine. Parking was NOT an issue, was able to park in the garage nearby. Plan to make Dawn Eatery your next eating place, you will enjoy and savor their delicious meals.

We made a reservation but no table was set up until we got there so we had to wait almost 15minutes to be seated. We were set up in a too-small space where the chairs were shoved close to the table. It was noisy and you had to practically shout to talk to the person next to you. Then we suddenly got the bill without being offered dessert or coffee. Not a fan

Food and ambience were great. All staff were friendly and owner walked around and greeted everyone. There were times service a little slow and unorganized but they remained friendly and made sure to correct issues with no problem. It was a Sunday so they were pretty busy. Loved the food. We’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed the ambiance and food was looking forward to trying some place new with a family friend visiting. However, we waited a hour and a half on the waitlist to be seated and that was truly disappointing.

After seeing the tik tok review I was very excited to try the Jambalaya skillet, however the rice was so mushy I couldn’t even enjoy it so I stopped eating completely. I told the waitress and she said she could swap it for the pot roast but the pot roast is real salty (her exact words). So obviously that wasn’t a viable option and she didn’t even take off or discount the skillet…I probably will not be returning which is unfortunate because the space and ambience was great.

The manager, Q, saved the day for my family and I and made the overall experience pleasant and enjoyable. We had reservations for 10 people at 4p. The restaurant was very busy and we were greeted by a staff member who seemed overwhelmed and unpleasant. Q took over communication with me and things quickly improved from there. He handled the situation with tact, attention and care and he did it all without throwing his employee under the bus, which in my opinion, is a significant skill! He addressed my concerns, the food was good and I will be back!!!!! Thanks Q for all you did to help us and for showing what grace under pressure looks like!
