Dublin's most famous pub, certainly in a literary sense, with its Joycean associations. Always classy and fashionable. It's the original Dublin gastropub at over 100 years old.
Anybody who is familiar with Dublin pub food will be aware of Davy Byrne’s food reputation, in which seafood is the speciality.
If you visit the premises at lunchtime and evening time, you will witness the huge trade which is done in fresh Seafood, Wagyu Burgers and pub classics like Fish & Chips. There is also a full range of Salads and Sandwiches to compliment these and, as often as not, you can enjoy Oysters and Guinness.
The classic Gorgonzola sandwich with a glass of Burgundy as mentioned in Ulysses is available every day.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate strollers/buggies indoors at Davy Byrnes but subject to availability, we can at our outside terraced area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

                                                            Excellent evening in Davy Byrnes. Food was top notch and service very good. Charcuterie board to share as a starter followed by Beef and Guinness pie and Cottage Pie ( the special - very tasty). Overall would highly recommend.

                                                            What a lovely dining restaurant food was superb. Atmosphere was very nice. Staff very pleasant and helpful especially Linda could not do enough for us will be back soon thank you

                                                            Great food and fun place. A little loud but not too bad. The Beef Guinness Pie was wonderful!

                                                            We dined here for my wife’s 30th birthday. She wanted seafood and it did not disappoint. Had some miscues with ordering. Missed our seafood tower, brought a chowder. Understandable mishap. They took the wrong one but never returned to replace it with the correct one, we were left unsure if it would be coming. Otherwise we loved our meal, ambience, and a top tier Espresso Martini. Nice to find a restaurant that appreciates a high end cocktail.

                                                            The seafood chowder and the Guinness pie were great. We also got a salad from the specials that was fantastic. The place was busy and the staff were stretched thin but they made every effort to be welcoming and helpful. I would certainly eat here again. Thank you!

                                                            Loved our time here ......staff were lovely .... Food delicious .....very reasonable.... Great atmosphere.... When we d finished eating the staff found us a space at the bar Overall a very enjoyable experience Would definitely recommend
