Situé au pied du quartier des arts de Portland au Monument Square, le chef et propriétaire David Turin a déménagé le David's Restaurant à cet emplacement historique en 1998. Le restaurant est décoré avec goût et créativité et rend hommage au "Great Fire", seul bâtiment sorti indemne de ce feu en 1866. La cuisine ouverte vous permettra d'observer la création des repas tous composés d'ingrédients locaux et qui sont préparés de façon originale. La cuisine de David a un pied dans la tradition et l'autre dans les influences contemporaines de la plupart des grandes cuisines du monde.     Traveling to Bar Harbor. One night in Portland. Did alot of research and David's was highly rated. Our experience was wonderful. Ted was great server. Our food was excellent. Would absolutely recommend.

    just ok not great restaurant charged 25.00 fee to make sure people showed up plus 4 percent for server crazy i was already giving him 20 percent

    Everything from garlic knots, chowder, cocktails and haddock special to the apple and berry crisp sweet ending was divine! Love David’s always good quality and fair prices

    Nice restaurant in Old Port Portland. The food was creative and delicious. Our server was very accommodating, attentive and efficient. An excellent meal for the both of us.

    We were traveling here and were lucky enough to get a reservation here. Everything about this place is amazing…the service and the meal. I had the curried deviled eggs with caviar and the carpaccio. My BF had the seafood ravioli.

    Nice friendly greetings and promptly seated for our 5pm reservation. Busy restaurant but very organized. Team work for sure! Food was excellent. My husband is still savoring the raw oysters that he loved! All four of us throughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I have never in my life ordered ravioli, but I was intrigued by the fresh mushrooms and leeks. I would so order it again!! Salmon was super and so was the ahi tuna. Presentations were beautiful.

    David's Restaurant was excellent. Even though the restaurant isn't large, they were able to accommodate our party of 10 without any issues. Our entire party enjoyed the many appetizers we tried - highly recommend the baked brie, garlic knots and truffle fries. The shrimp cocktail was almost as big as our hands. The meals were delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server Liz was awesome and very attentive. We'll definitely be back to try their other menu offerings including the Brussel sprouts - we saw those go by and they looked amazing. We highly recommend David's!

    Food and service was good, however, found it to be very loud.. seated near the kitchen where they would yell for servers to pick up food..

    Cannot say enough about David’s! The food and drinks were amazing, but our server was beyond amazing. The restaurant was quite busy, but she was extremely attentive and made several recommendations that were spot on. Highly recommend!
