                                                                                Excellent food preparation, great service and ambience, but very expensive. $55 for a meager rack of lamb! $75 for pedestrian pinot noir. Their 20% off on Wednesdays (you must ask for it to get it) doesn't include beverages. The superb French onion soup is a meal in itself.

                                                                                David’s is amazing! Probably the highest quality restaurant on Amelia island, expensive but very very good. I had the sea bass and my significant other had the Dover sole and they were super. A somewhat limited but very good wine list and the escargot were really good as well. A true “dining out” experience

                                                                                Service was friendly but slow. Took an hour and ten minutes to get our meal. Food was only lukewarm warm. You are better to eat at bar area. Overpriced for what you get. Disappointed.

                                                                                Wait staff was great. Sea Bass for both of us was over cooked. Not the best that we have had there in the past. Pasta dish was fantastic. Appetizers were divine.

                                                                                David’s is a nice place and the staff was on-point with their friendly and professional hospitality. The food was also very good. This was one of those places I wish I could do partial stars because they definitely earned a higher rating than a 4. Let’s say a 4.7. We would absolutely recommend.

                                                                                The atmosphere and service were fantastic, creating a great evening out. However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. For the price, I was hoping for something more memorable. While it was a pleasant night overall, the food fell short compared to other spots in Northeast Florida that I’d rank a bit higher. All in all, a nice experience, but likely a one-time visit for us.

                                                                                My husband and I visit Amelia Island each year for our anniversary. We have eaten at David’s for several years and have thoroughly enjoyed it each year. This year was the first time we were somewhat disappointed in the experience. We feel the level of service and food did not match the quality of previous years. There were lag times in the food coming out and the overall quality of the food was not what we are accustomed to at David’s. We are hoping it was an off night, and will give it another visit in the future.
