There are few restaurants that are spot on all the time. This describes Davenport Press. The staff is wonderful as are the owners. I cannot say enough about this restaurant, except thank you!

This restaurant epitomizes 'local treasure'. If you're looking for a place to celebrate with family and friends or you're looking for a place for a quiet dinner for two, Davenport Press will not disappoint. And be sure to leave room for dessert! The Key Lime Pie was outstanding.

Always a great experience at Davenport Press. Our waiter juan is amazing. The staff is very friendly and we love it there!

Was not at all happy with the prime rib. The waiter did tell us only 2 cuts left 1 med & 1 end. My husband took the med i took the end because i dont mind a little well done. It was VERY well done & dried out. His was dry as well. I didn’t complain because we were with other people but for the $ this cost, the waiter should never have served these cuts. The chef should never have sent them out of the kitchen. Very disappointed. And the sauvignon blanc was like water- no flavor at all. Have been to this restaurant several times but not sure i will go back.

The restaurant was too noisy. I did not get my dish cooked the way I ordered it. The service was distracted. The temperature was too cold. I will not dine here again.

Started with figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in prosciutto . It was just so so, because it seemed like the prosciutto was semi cooked but the goat cheese and fig was cold . Would’ve been better if everything was separate on the plate and room temp. My entree was the 11/4 lb lobster steamed , which was excellent, cooked to perfection, served with melted butter, mixed vegetables and choice of potato . My friend had the scallops that were also very good . Service was very good . Recommend this restaurant and will surely return .

Great place for a meal. The food is always excellent and the service could be a little slow when the restaurant is full. However it is our place to go to when we want a good meal at reasonable prices as the portions are quite large.
