I went to Dave & Buster’s last night for my birthday, and while the overall experience was fun, the service was seriously lacking. The good: The food was great, and the games were awesome! Everything was clean and well-maintained, which made for a good atmosphere. The bad: The service was incredibly slow. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart, so I don’t think it was her fault, but it seemed like they were severely understaffed. Refills on sodas took forever, and getting extra napkins or plates felt like a mission. The food took about 40 minutes to arrive, and finding a server when we needed something was a struggle. Even when we finally managed to ask for things, they would often forget. I’m guessing they only had two servers for the area, which might explain the delays, but it really impacted our experience. Again, I don’t blame our waitress—she seemed overwhelmed. But overall, the service was just too slow. If they can improve their staffing situation, this place would be great, but based on my experience, be prepared to wait a long time for basic service. Would I go back? Maybe—for the games and food. But I really hope they work on their service.

We arrived for our reservation time and once we were taken to our table we still had to wait for them find one more chair before I could sit down. Then we were only given 4 menus when the reservation was for 5. Then only given 1 pair of utensils and to ask for refills and the salad was very brown and had old cherry tomatoes and tasted very dirty. We’ll never return to this location.

Amazing server with quick attention and very welcoming. Food was great and value was amazing. 2 kids and 5 adults for dinner under $150 with appetizers is unheard of any more. Games are in good condition and facilities are still well kept. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Well done D&B

Service, food and drinks were great. Because of the theme I knew there would be noise but we were yelling to hear each other.

Great review given what the restaurant is. The food is better than expected (on both visits) and good value. It's noisy but it's a sports bar and game venue. Our grandchildren had a blast playing games while we finished our dinner and drinks. The 9-yr-old proclaimed it the best day ever (OK, she did win quite a number of tickets!)

My husband and I like to go to Dave & Buster’s about once a month and share some happy hour type food and a round or two and then blow off steam playing some really fun arcade games. There are always specials and offers going on so you can get a lot of food for relatively little money. Lots of fun!

I visited the dB in rancho mirage, it was awful took 20 mins 2 order and received drinks, ordered appetizers chicken wings and pot stickers the chicken was cold and undercooked the pot stickers burnt cold and overcooked, as we're waiting or our food a these guys started smoking right infront of family, I called my waitress over she says this happens all the time, finally security comes to my table and ask me to identify the guys I told him that is unprofessional people can get hurt I'm sitting with my family a 2 year old and a 6 year old he says because it's there 2nd time he has to kick them out, the guy hears everything despite how loud it was in the restaurant and threw his vape at my husband and left the restaurant, finally we receive our food my steak was raw and cold my kids 🍕 burnt and no extra cheese my husband and mother in law's fish in chops cold and mushy management refused do anything I'm demanding call back from corp
