Amazing meal and recommendations by the host and server - Salvador. Will definitely be coming back. The four cheese stuffed pillows are beyond amazing! As well as the blonde dessert.

My husband and I chose this restaurant as we were celebrating an important anniversary and wanted to try someplace new. We liked the background music played and the acoustics made it easy to converse in this busy restaurant. The overall design is pleasing. We were greeted warmly when we entered then found seats at the bar since we had arrived early. Good drinks and pleasant wait until our table was ready. Once seated and our waitress arrived, she immediately just asked if we knew what we wanted to eat? We had found a small paper on the table with the menus so I asked if these were specials? She said yes, with no further details. It seemed unusual not to have a more welcoming start and an explanation of any specials offered, or questions about the menu. We had ordered wine which was served just prior to our entrees being served. I realized that the wrong wine was served to me (a Riesling instead of a Sauvignon Blanc, very easy to tell the difference). The waitress showed the paper where she entered it correctly when we ordered, which was totally unnecessary to show us unless she was trying to tell me I was wrong, but then she returned with the correct wine. We also requested forks since one dish was linguine, and it would be difficult to eat that with just the large spoon provided. So our food sat in front of us, cooling down, while we waited to get the correct eating utensils and wine. Dessert wasn’t offered to us once we completed dinner, so we just paid and went elsewhere for that (maybe there isn’t any?). This just wasn’t the experience we had hoped for unfortunately.

This restaurant was expensive for the pasta portion you receive. Food came out cold and had to be sent back.

The food was excellent! Our server David was so attentive. We will be back! By the way, the bruschetta was the best I have had!

Good food. Best service. However the vegetarian options are less. In pasta, they hardly have any vegetables to add while substituting meat. They don’t have as basic as bell peppers and jalapeño.

This was our second visit to Davonti Enoteca. The service and food were both excellent. When your waiter / waitress tells you that the menu items are shareable - believe them. The appetizers and entrees are all shareable large portions. The wines and cocktails are very good. It was a Thursday night in downtown Naperville which is usually very busy. However street and sidewalk construction is affecting their business. They are open though so support their business!

We dine here often and had an enjoyable dinner. The service was good as well, and John the manager was attentive to the customers. The only drawback was our table was near a server station and across from the kitchen entrance. It made for a bit more noise and activity than usual.

We were a group of 5 and it was easy to carry out conversation across the table. I have numerous allergies (sesame, tree nuts, peanuts) and the restaurant was excellent and keeping me safe, Our server was Lulu and she was personable, efficient, and took fantastic care of us, especially with tastings as we decided what wine to purchase. This wasn't our first choice of restaurants, but the other was closed for renovation. Going forward, this will be the first.
