Mia Francesca features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. It was one of the first restaurants in Chicago to encourage the lively art of dining with a contemporary, casually sophisticated trattoria ambiance, simple, rustic cooking, friendly service, and fair prices.

Waiting for a table at the beautiful antique bar is part of the charm of Mia Francesca. The plush upstairs dining room and lounge can be reserved for private events, as can the more intimate coach house tucked away behind the restaurant. In the summer, al fresco dining is also available on a charming cobblestone terrace.

Fantastic! We are thrilled to have such a great spot in the neighborhood. Food, Service and Atmosphere are all top notch. We both loved are dinner and the carrot cake was out of sight.

This is a highly recommended restaurant. I have been here 3 times and I know I will go back many more times. The service was great, and the food was very delicious. For appetizer you should definitely try Focaccia Di Recco, it is a flatbread with cheese and honey, delicious combination.

Super loud even though it wasn’t crowded. Bad music on high volume makes it difficult to carry on a conversation.

Great food and service. But, cracked black pepper was placed in abundance on the Caesar salad, this detracted from the favorable taste of the salad.

As for service, we noted on the reservation to be a regular table and they seated us at a high-top table. We had to ask staff members to ask our waiter to come by a few times as he did not check on us. I ordered the special which was lobster with a spicy tomato pasta. The dish came out with a lobster with meat still in the shell and the pasta in the middle. A manager came over with the dish and didn’t explain how to eat the dish or provide a plate for the shells. The latte I ordered tasted like water and the replacement latte tasted the same.

Had a great experience at Mia Francesca’s in Lincolnwood. The food was great and the service very attentive. A great addition to neighborhood restaurants. We’ll be back

The food was phenomenal!!! Loved the whipped ricotta, focaccia also with ricotta best I’ve had!! The chicken Milanese was to die for as was the chopped salad!

This is a new, very nice restaurant in our community that has a more modern atmosphere than other Mia Francesca restaurants. We went earlier because we had a show to attend, so the crowd contained a lot of younger children who kicked up the sound volume considerably. However, it did not dampen our enthusiasm for the restaurant. Everything was very good--especially the service-- from Ansel--who went out of his way to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We sat inside, but we're looking forward to a return visit sitting outside on the lovely patio. I recommend giving Mia Francesca Lincolnwood a try. I am sure you will have a pleasant experience.

Our family of four dined last night. Dishes included bruschetta, calamari, carpaccio, cod, risotto, carbonara and kids spaghetti. Everything was hot and delicious. I enjoyed the happy hour menu which has a discounted aperol spritz. We skipped on the outdoor dining thinking the corner of Lincoln and Touhy at rush hour would be a bit loud but they’ve made the spot really cute and cozy despite the busy corner. I can see visiting and sitting my the outdoor fireplace in fall. All staff was kind and efficient. Overall a really good edition to the neighborhood!
