This was the first time I dined in this restaurant. I had a terrific experience. Our host, Kambiz, was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and ambiance/noise level was just perfect, especially for date night. I highly recommend this Persian restaurant.

I had been to |Darya over twenty years ago when I last worked in Orange County. I remembered it being good. Darya was the perfect spot for my wife and I to have dinner on our date night. The food was excellent. We are not familiar with Persian food, but we had a fantastic guide in our server, Kouroush. He was extremely attentive without being at all intrusive. He helped us select a wonderful dinner sampling traditional foods that were a new and great experience for us both. Highlights were the Shish Kebab, the Shirazi Salad, and the Faloodeh. Darya made our night very special. We will definitely be coming back.

It was terrific, the best lamb I have ever had. The front desk messed up however. I reserved for a party of four. We arrived separately and they didn’t recognize that we were in the same party and seated us at different tables. It took us 30 minutes before we realized this.

I've been going to Darya for over 25 years. It never disappoints me. My father was Persian and I grew up with Persian food. It always reminds me of my father's cooking. I always make it a point to visit while I'm in town.

The ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. The quality of the food was outstanding, but the highlight of the evening was our food server. She was the nicest and most accommodating person ever. I regret that I do not know her name, but I am going yo find out what it was, and recommend the restaurant give her a raise!
