Darvish Restaurant is a true gem in DC, serving some of the most authentic Persian cuisine outside of Iran. As a Persian, I have high standards, and Darvish exceeds them. The kabobs are perfectly grilled, the stews rich and flavorful, and the tahdig irresistibly crispy. Every dish is crafted with care, capturing the essence of Persian cooking. The warm ambiance and exceptional service make you feel at home. Whether you’re craving a taste of Iran or trying Persian food for the first time, Darvish is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

My friend and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Darvish. They were attentive and food was generously portions. It was nice having another option for a nice persian dinner.

However, we did encounter an issue with the service that affected our overall experience. One of the waitstaff behaved in a way that felt unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. I visited Darvish for the first time this past Valentines. Right when the entered, it felt a kind of warmth and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was amazing, funny and kind. It was our first time and we had a great time. The food, drinks and ambience where all top notch. Would recommend anyone to visit.

We had the best time! We were sat in the window seat and had fabulous serves. The food was incredible. We will be going back!
