Darling’s is a fresh pasta eatery in East London. Overlooking Olympic Park, the eatery is a hidden gem in Fish Island where the industrial and creative spaces converge. Roman Road, Bow, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park are just a stroll away from your weekly treat of freshly made pasta and wine from independent producers.

Egle Loit, a trained pasta chef, has previously popped up mostly around East and North London, creating a buzz with her pre-restaurant residency at Vestry House Museum in 2023.

Founder of Darling’s cares dearly about the craft that fresh pasta making requires. “One can turn humble ingredients into abundance with skill,” shares the restaurateur.

Darling’s is designed to be an open space to be shared between the guests and the team, therefore there are no barriers between the service area and the dining area. You’ll find yourself connecting by enjoying your meal at the shared table. Those, who like to hide away, can still do it at separate tables.

We visited Darlings after looking for somewhere to eat before going to the ABBA Arena. Despite being a little off the beaten track, it was a lovely meal - all freshly cooked - with great service. We would highly recmmend it!

The kind of restaurant that if you ate there on holiday you'd be talking about it for months. Everything was great.

What a find - absolutely amazing - it is so hard to find an excellent Italian but this is one - it is an absolute gem and one of best meals I have ever had. The directions are quite correct in that you think a restaurant cannot possibly be where directions send you but it is indeed there. This restaurant is just fabulous - the quality of the food is outstanding from the fresh focaccia (just out of oven), the courgette fritti and honeyed burrata which we all shared before the most amazing pasta dishes came out. The tiramisu for dessert was just divine. Great selection of wines and we all had a ball. Atmosphere was relaxed casual. The staff were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. It was simply perfect in every way. Thankyou to all at the restaurant
