Very vibe place to have a glass of wine and share an appie. Staff extremely friendly, easy to park. Look forward to sitting in the patio soon!

my wife liked the atlantic cod, my steak was also quite good, cooked to medium-rare perfection!

Dill eggs benny is good. My friend was a not a fan of the yogurt that came with the Turkish style eggs, wished it came on the side instead of the food being submerged in it. Desserts were okay. Had the Madeline’s (12 dollars for 3 Madeline’s, not good value and were just okay), and the lime mint sorbet which I was not a fan of, however we got 2 free kdays tickets w the sorbet which was nice. I would go back just for the eggs benny.

I had the brioche French toast, and it was amazing!!! Highly recommend the hash browns too!

We were there on a Friday evening. Young crowd, very loud, with music from speakers as well. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. However, the food service was very slow. 15-20 minutes to get olives to have with our drinks. Main plates took another 40-45 minutes. One plate was served nearly cold, so must have been sitting in the kitchen for some time before it was brought out. My order was for fish. The fish was well cooked, but the sauce it was served with was bland, room temperature, and really did not complement the fish well. For the price, this was disappointing. The other dish, pork, was quite good. Only three main courses on the menu. The noise level in the restaurant was uncomfortable. Difficult to have a conversation.

I loved everything about my experience at Darling. The anchovy toast was delicious and unique and I can’t stop thinking about the pork belly. The rhubarb with the gochujang was such a genius combination. My server was amazing as well. She was so knowledgeable about the wines and the food and made some great suggestions. Thank you for an awesome night out.

My 2nd time here. It wasn’t as good as the first time, but still very, very good. Service was exceptional my first visit, he offered samples of wine, so I could make proper choices. We had to bring that up to get a sample. Then we ordered the radishes. And I’m still confused about that dish. The server said they were steamed with the butter melted over them, but they came raw and cold and with cold butter. Not sure what the dish is supposed to be. We asked the other server if they were supposed to be steamed and they said “No” as they kept walking past our table. When our server came back, they said they thought they were steamed and the recipes change weekly, so maybe this was a new prep. A restaurant the caliber of Darling should be very clear on the food prep. The rest of our meal was amazing. The croquettes, the anchovy toasts (never take them off menu), the beef carpaccio and the AMAZING pork belly. The only dish that didn’t fit was the radish dish. I’m still confused by it and want to know if there is some chef story or some gourmet thing about raw radishes and butter that we just don’t get. Anyhow, I love the decor and the food was great, the service was okay. Also, there was no pie left when we went to order a birthday dessert, so that was too bad.

Very loud, music in competition with conversation, no sound dampening decor. Very good food. But, sharing? Had we known, would have planned our choices in advance. Prices in line with other decent restaurants. Hopefully the patio, which looked lovely, would be quieter. Found it tiring shouting across the table, and the ambient noise was tiring. Would recommend to others, with the caveat about the noise.
