We are an award-winning restaurant with a beautiful waterfront location in Derby. We offer you classic British and European dishes with a modern twist, within a 200-year old former mill building: Darley Abbey Mills.

We also have two outdoor terraces so if you prefer, you can enjoy al-fresco drinks overlooking the River Derwent prior to your dining experience. We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Darleys creates incredible flavours and stunningly-presented dishes that will delight you, all paired with the perfect wine or cocktail to make your experience complete.

Sadly this was the second time in a row that the food has not been what it used to be. The fish was over cooked and cold and the lamb was disappointing and barely warm. The warmest thing on the plate was the potato. We arrived at 6:30 and we were not finished until 10:30, just too long for a mediocre meal. The best part of the evening were the wine pairings.

My wife and I decided to revisit Darleys’s this evening for our wedding anniversary! We’ve visited here a fair few times and never been disappointed. But have to say the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing was bloody brilliant! Keep it up guys and can’t wait to return 🙏🙌👌 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
