We were a group of 4 - there for a birthday dinner. The restaurant is beautiful. The food is good, and the restaurant offered lots of gluten-free options for one of our guests. We started with olives, padron peppers, and butter lettuce salad. I really loved the salad - I would highly recommend it. For mains we had the chicken, branzino, rib eye steak, with sides of broccolini, brussels sprouts, fries, and baked potato. All were delicious and would recommend all of it. The ambience was busy. We were by the kitchen and saw the activity there. The restaurant also seemed to attract a younger demographic who took endless amounts of selfies by the bathroom. The service did leave much to be desired and did not align withe price point of the restaurant. Not sure what the issue was. There was a lot of staff all around, but they also seemed to be really busy. Our reservation was for 8:15, and we didn't end up eating until 10ish. Someone from the restaurant did come by to apologize for the delay. Nonetheless, I would go back to this restaurant as the food was good, and I would hope that the service is improved the next time.

We reached there at around 7:55 and got a table at around 8:10. We ordered our food; for the starter, I ordered bread and butter, and my fiancé ordered some beef, I guess. Even though we placed our main meal order with the starter, it took them 1 hour and 15 minutes just to provide spaghetti and a chicken burger (I don’t remember the exact name). I understand it was a little busy, but I believe waiting 1 hour for spaghetti is ridiculous. Overall, it was good, but a bit costlier compared to the service and the food taste.

First-time experience on the patio. Very comfortable seating. Food and cocktails were first rate. Shared the tuna carpaccio and mussels. Both were incredibly delicious - and the butter... what. was. that?! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We came early prior to the theater, we had plenty of time, never felt rushed. I can't say enough good things and will recommend Daphne to anyone looking to dine downtown.

I love Daphne but today did not love the seared tuna salad. Two of our group ordered it and neither of us enjoyed it. The tuna was brown not pink so visually it was unappetizing. The potato crisps were soggy. And it didn’t specify that the “lettuce” was frisée which I wouldn’t normally order. We did not complain as we were there with guests. That said, the service and ambience are wonderful. Just reconsider ordering the tuna!

Last evening, a group of friends and I had the pleasure of dining at Daphne, and it was an exceptional experience. The culinary offerings were delightful; the midnight cap espresso martini, in particular, stood out as a highlight. The service was impeccable, led by our server Zoe, who demonstrated remarkable attention to detail, enthusiasm, humor, and professionalism. Her expertise significantly enhanced our dining experience. I would highly recommend requesting Zoe for future reservations at Daphne, as her service was outstanding. Furthermore, the ambiance at Daphne is both inviting and sophisticated, contributing to a memorable evening.

I celebrated my birthday at Daphnes with my girlfriends and we had the best time! The service was amazing and everyone was so kind. The food was unbelievably delicious and they even gave our table free champagne and a small dessert to celebrate the evening. Compliments to the pastry chef as well! I will definitely be back!
