We invite you to join Chef Kris Simmons and his culinary team to taste the fresh, local flavours of Danu Cellars at Dark Horse Estate Winery. Our all-new fine dining, farm-to-table restaurant is nestled next to the working barrel cellar.

Steps from the world-famous sunsets on Lake Huron, and next door to the Huron Country Playhouse, at Danu Cellars we are proud to showcase local purveyors, farmers and producers in a comfortable fine dining atmosphere with an extensive wine and cocktail list that will surely meet your culinary delight.

Now featuring our seasonal Spring Menu.

Due to the nature of the space we can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 8. If your party is 6 guests or more, please phone to make your reservation (519) 494-2325.

    One of the best places to eat, food was simply amazing, server was fantastic and took her time to explain everything. They give you lots of time to sit in between courses did not feel rushed

    Everything was absolutely incredible. Fantastic wine, comfortable seating, and the food was out of this world. We started with the steak tartare & burrata which were both so fresh and delicious. The homemade rosemary focaccia bread with the bread service was amazing. The halibut was hands down the best fish I have ever eaten. It was cooked to absolute perfection. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the beef tenderloin. The savory bread pudding was very unique! The staff were attentive and kind without being overbearing. We loved our experience.

    We had 3 different servers….causing a bit of confusion…..we never did receive our coffee .. had to leave for theatre. Danu great dining experience overall…

    Food was bland and green salad had very little dressing. Had to call server over to find out why I hadn't received my order. .

    Like the restaurant but was looking forward to pizza on the deck with a glass of wine. They weren't open until the weekend.
