We both got steaks and baked potatoes and the steaks were cooked perfectly. I also got a side of mushrooms which were just ok. Service was fantastic. Last time we went here was 28 years ago and they are as great as we remember.

The convention center zone in Seattle hosts an eclectic and shifting set of restaurants, but one of the best things the new Hyatt Regency did was to establish an outpost for the local steak overlords of Daniel's Broiler. A stacked menu from apps to dessert, with a thick drink list to match, served in deceptively casual surroundings right where you want it. Who could ask for more? This time I went for the 8oz domestic wagyuu filet, and the kitchen knocked it out of the park. In a city flush with top-echelon steakhouses, this Daniels certainly measures up.

Our server was amazing at recommended items when we asked, but didn't do the hard sell. The food was amazing! Somehow are group all went the non-steak route and everything was amazing. I would definitely recommend again.

The food was pretty good. But my steak was overcooked which really surprised me because the waiter told me they tend toward less done. At the price they charge that should never happen. They have you cut the steak when they serve it and right in the middle it looked ok, but it was a filet and all around the middle it was too done. We were also unprepared for the automatic 20% surcharge that goes to the restaurant, not the server.

Food was very good. I had the Alaskan halibut, and my husband had a steak. Everything was delicious but for the price we defiantly could have done something cheaper. Wine, cocktails, and two meals for $280! Wowsers.

Was very good food only down side was we had them wrap out left overs and then they never came back with than they brought the check then and we paid and left with out them sadness for sure.

Overall we were very happy with the food and especially the service but when it came to pay the bill we were very disappointed to see a service charge automatically applied to our bill. The food was already very expensive. There were two of us dining – we had two entrées, one appetizer and one shared side. Three glasses of wine and one cocktail. With the service charge it came to be almost $350. We always tip well but it was difficult to make sense of tipping on top of an automatic service charge. That would’ve brought a bill for two people to be close to $400 which is ridiculous! Sadly will not be visiting Daniels Downtown or any of the other locations in the future.

A show at the Paramount brought us here l, but we will be choosing a different spot next time. Service was good, but I don’t enjoy a black crust on my steak even though internally, the temperature was a fine medium rare. They do bring out flashlights to verify satisfaction prior to consuming, but I did not know the crust would make my filet mignon so bitter. We ordered Brussels sprouts on the side but they came out with peppers which was unexpected and undesirably spicy. Drinks were good, though. If you choose to come here, be sure to purchase gift cards from Costco!
