    Went here for my mom’s birthday and enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairings. Everything was amazing and the service was top notch. Thank you to the staff for making the night one to remember!

    This has to be one of the best middle eastern restaurants I have been to outside of Lebanon. Amazing food and great service. We were there on a Saturday and the place was packed, which would have been expected if it weren't for the price range. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. I wish it was a bit more affordable as the price point is quite prohibitive for most middle class folks who are not celebrating a very special occasion.

    From the moment we entered, the staff were attentive and just lovely! Food arrived in a timely fashion and played incredibly well. Everything we ordered was flavourful! Highly recommend!

    The first time we went to Damas, every bite was incredibly special. The food was still delicious this time but the chicken was not as tender, the french fries weren’t hot, and the hummus had less flavor.

    We visit Montreal from Maine each summer and a meal at Damas is something we look forward to each year. We have visited many times over the years. But our visit in July 2024 was so disappointing we won't return again. The prices are very high but we accepted that because of the unique flavors of the delicious food usually prepared with great care. But this time, our $36 fattoush salad was so salty it was largely inedible. My husband is a big salt lover and even he thought it was extremely salty. Because no one checked on us after it was served, we were unable to register our complaints and ate about half of it because we were hungry. When our server finally showed up with our main dishes, we did tell him but he said and did nothing about the salad. We also repeatedly asked for the restaurant's signature bread – which the people seated later than us at the next table received quite promptly –but it didn't arrive until halfway through our main dishes and it was cold and tasteless. Our main dishes were OK but not great...seeming to lack the unique flavors we expect of Damas. Our one positive experiences was sitting on the terrace for the first time, which we found much quieter than the inside dining room, which can be extremely noisy. Overall though, our dining experience was negative and we won't be back!

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Damas, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, with warm lighting and elegant decor that set the perfect mood. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made excellent recommendations. The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chef’s creativity shone through in every bite, combining fresh, high-quality ingredients in innovative ways. The Kanufa Shrimps with honey was a standout, with its exquisite blend of textures and flavors that left me savoring each mouthful. The dessert was equally impressive, offering a perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable meal. Overall, Damas exceeded all expectations, providing not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in culinary excellence.

    Excellent restaurant pour une grande occasion. Nous avons choisi le menu dégustation et c’était parfait. Nous avons eu droit à une belle variété de plats et nous avons découvert de nouvelles saveurs. Le service était excellent. Nous avons choisi la terrasse pour notre repas. La conception permet d’avoir une belle intimité tout en profitant de l’été.
