“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. After 10 PM they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. We specialize in fish. Tuesdays are our LGBTQ night, but everyone is welcome. Tuesdays will now feature live jazz bands."

Great food, good service, great vibes! Cannot complain whatsoever - I went for my birthday - very intimate setting. The food kept coming! Definitely recommend getting the platter, it's a challenge to finish it all! Fave dishes: Ceviche, Mussels, Tiger Prawns and the Oysters. Drinks are reasonably priced considering you pay what you think the food is worth. Jazz Quartet was absolutely phenomenal, bass player kept it cool, the Sax player brought the vibes and the keyboard and drums kept the rhythm going. Absolutely no complaints about the entertainment. The venue is small so the music is loud, but it wouldn't be the same otherwise! Dalston Jazz Bar, thank you for rounding off my birthday with great food and entertainment; you will be seeing me again...

It was Wednesday and perfect evening to celebrate my birthday! The food was to die for!! Oysters were one of the best ones I had!!! And music just was so beautiful that we ended up last customers! Just one suggestion is to change vinegar in oysters vinaigrette to wine one! Thank you everyone! We will be back!!!

Dalston offer as interesting concept and a new approach to the value they place on their experience. Food was good and fresh, although it seemed like the service was slightly chaotic without compromising diner’s experience. The music lasted for about 45 minutes throughout our stay which was pleasant and entertaining, however it can get a bit loud if one is planning on conversing much. Overall it was a good experience and I would absolutely recommend everyone giving it a go. I know I will be back.

Unique dining experience - fabulous selection of sea food to share brought tapas style. Amazing jazz and relaxed vibe. Pay for your drinks then whatever you decide for food. A great fun evening.
