Perfection in every way possible Very good waiter, who explained the entire menu to us and Tiramisu which was like sitting on a cloud!

Everything we wanted. Real Italian food, great ingredients, beautifully cooked including orecchiette with cime di rapa, cicoria. Don’t understand how the frittatina is so lovely. Warm welcome, great service.

Lovely food, staff, decor. They sorted a candle in my friend’s dessert for his birthday which I really appreciated ❤️.

Sadly, our evening didn’t live up to the reviews, or expectations. I put this down to a 9.15pm booking and the staff being tired and slightly disengaged tbh. We emailed ahead to ask for a table at 8.45 instead of 9.15, which was accommodated - great start! However, when we turned up the table wasn’t ready, so we went to the pub and waited for another 1/2 hour or just short off. The waiter promised us excellent service, to which, they didn’t deliver sadly. Firstly, he asked us three times if we wanted water - each time we said yes, and each time, we said sparkling. We got it third time lucky. After 20 minutes, we were asked if we wanted wine and ordered our food at the same time. The waitress then promptly forgot we’d asked for wine and we had to call her attention. The first course was nice - mozzarella and figs, with a lovely thin Omlette as a second plate. We shared the Ragu which was lovely. There was not much interaction in terms of pouring our wine, or asking us if we wanted things - or if things were ok. The final course came - cod - and the bread was forgotten. Again, apologies, and a quick salvage. However. After three mess ups in as many courses and a very under-whelming bottle of wine (albeit the guy changed it for us and was nice about it), I just felt not very ‘looked-after’. By the end of our meal, the waiter/or manager was talking so loudly to the couple next to us about all the amazing restaurants and places to eat, and his journey to food and his previous job, I couldn’t think straight, let alone talk to my partner as he was only a couple of feet away. They were getting offered some kind of leaving shot, which we were not offered - nor pudding, nor a coffee, so I just asked for the bill. It a real shame as I was so looking forward to going and we literally live at the end of the road so it would have been a good date night, like Nest had been. Anyway, I’m sure it was just an off-night - we both agreed, however, that it was a shame.

Gorgeous setting and incredible food! Service was lovely, our server helped us with the menu and explained the specials wonderfully. Pasta was divine.

Every dish we had was amazing. Service was excellent and the team were knowledgable. The vibe is lovely and wasn't super loud like some other places. I've already booked to come back twice!

Proper Italian food. Proper neighbourhood restaurant though expensive cf Rome or Naples. But we’re in London.... still, relationship of price to quality is very good (cf mad prices at River Cafe). Great ingredients not messed up. Chicory (I never see this on London menus), razor clams, cuttlefish antipasti all excellent. Amazing sort of steak tartare with lardo and girolles. Rustic homemade salame, somehow lightly pickled zucchini were fantastic. Good choice of seasonal Primi: Chestnut gnocchi, sweetie-shaped pasta with pumpkin. Secondi (we ate a lot): John Dory and mushrooms so fresh and lovely, pork chop was bonkersly huge and had to take half home. V good version of tiramisu. Good frizzante and house wines. Young woman serving was very nice, service very attentive. Great decor with attention to lovely details: wonderful lighting with Stilnovo pendant and wall lights giving enough light to see what you're eating but real atmosphere, Caccia Dominioni brass door knobs (I want them), tablecloths and comfortable padded Mallet-Stevens chairs. Lovely.
