Hailing from coveted Fountaingrove, high on the western aspect of the Mayacamas mountain range, this winery par excellence enjoys celebrated winemaker Elizabeth Tangney’s daily efforts to produce some of Sonoma’s most impressive Cabernets. Multi-course pairings are born of a concentrated effort between our Executive Chef Ji Kang, and our Sommelier Brandon Smoot. The night’s lineup will include highly exclusive back vintages, as well as an end-of-the-evening opportunity to purchase a few bottles for your cellar. Finally, we will cap the event with a sensational raffled prize donated by Cornell, with each seat counting towards one raffle ticket. Pricing: Tickets are $460 per person, inclusive of all fees, gratuity, and taxes.

I loved my experience at Dakota’s! This was my first time back since before Covid and Jocelyn at the bar was the kindest most attentive person I’ve ever met! She made sure I was satisfied with my experience and everything was so perfect! I enjoyed my Cesar salad, my steak and fries. Thank you so much! 😊

I LOVED it. I went alone and sat at the bar. Kayla was my server and she was so attentive and kind. I told her I was there to try some of their vegetarian dishes and she pointed out some of the popular ones. The Brussel sprouts were the highlight for me, but I also got the kale (incredible), the cacio e Pepe risotto (so delicious), and the cheesey potato puree (phenomenal). I also ordered two gin cocktails that were perfect and the pineapple upside down cake that just blew my mind. There was a piano player and football on tv. Overall the service was fantastic and the vibes were immaculate. Would come back just to chat with Kayla and eat some dessert.

For a date night at Dakota’s Steakhouse, my boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience. The underground ambiance set a romantic tone, enhanced by the live piano music that added a special touch to the evening. We both enjoyed the filet, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was intimate yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a memorable night out.

Dakota was a very good steak restaurant. I enjoyed it. They just need to get some steak sauce please. It was my birthday had a blast.

Brian was an amazing knowledgeable waiter. Attended my husbands gluten allergy and checked in often he was very nice. We definitely will be back food was so good. Very impressed with how fast food came out.

Interesting location with the basement waterfall of course that is touted on most reviews. Hostess were very professional and thoughtful. We had reservations for my husband’s birthday and everyone from hosts to servers to the manager were very good about wishing him happy birthday. Our table also had a happy birthday card which was nice touch. We could tell several tables had similar placards for anniversaries and other special occasions so it’s definitely a place for couples celebrating events. For steak and seafood , the menu is light on seafood entrees options. Shrimp cocktail was excellent - massively jumbo shrimp. I didn’t care for the runny vinegary cocktail sauce or the green goddess sauce served with it. We also had the day scallops which had 3 tiny grilled scallops but they were very tasty. 😋 My husband had the bone in filet - it was 🥩 tender, cooked perfectly medium rare and very memorable. One of the best I’ve tasted. Truffle Mac and cheese with lobster had a good amount of lobster (+$9) and great flavor. I couldn’t stop eating it although I was trying not to fill up. My lobster was also amazing. Butter soft and fluffy and perfectly cooked. 🦞 Now for the not so good part. We were seated in the section near the bar and waterfall towards the wall that connects with the main dining room. Apparently they are aware of a condensation drip from the ceiling in that area but still seat people there. Water dripped onto the back of my dress so we alerted our server who told us yes that happens sometimes and would be like to move ? Uh duh yeah? Of course ! So they loved us to a different table and sat another unsuspecting couple there. Our server kept pushing us hard to order our main entree after we ordered cocktails and appetizers even though nothing had even arrived. We would start a conversation after she left our table and about 3 sentences in- poof- there she was again. This repeated after we finally got our drinks, and again after the appetizers arrived
