Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.

Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.

Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays.
Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day.
Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day.
We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served.

Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : This Logan Square pasta spot got a fresh start in a spacious home in 2023, after which it nabbed raves from the Chicago Tribune and a MICHELIN Green Star for sustainability. Much of the produce at this Italian-by-way-of-the-Midwest restaurant comes from chef Joe Frillman's brother's farm outside Chicago. Find it in playful dishes like onion dip with housemade Ruffles, fritto misto with cheese curds, and pierogi with mussels and beer.

The food is very one note. My daughter asked about flavor profiles of a dish and was chided by the waitress about not being a pedestrian red sauce white sauce Italian restaurant. No one asked that question. Maybe introduce some bitter greens or acid or herbs to step things up. If you’re going to be so entitled the food better be good.

This is THE best restaurant in Chicago. They are constantly raising the bar with excellent, seasonal dishes that have blown me away every time. And even with food that good, the service is always the best part of the experience.

We shared four pasta dishes and loved each of them. The waitress recommended the spaghetti; while it was delicious, it was the least interesting. The lamb sugo is a must. The ice cream and cake were outstanding finishes. Our waitress was fun and made the experience even better. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

The service was excellent from the server to Khrushchev the bus staff. The food was mediocre and was not that hot when served. I’ve had much much better Italian food from dozens of restaurants in the area. Really don’t understand the hype it gets. Bob

Went for brunch. It was fun menu, some different stuff on top of a couple of classics. Cocktail menu is fun as are the mock-tails. Everything was great and service was awesome.

Don’t miss this culinary experience!! We tried four entrees and each one was superb!! The service was impeccable, ambience bright and inviting and an all around perfectly succulent brunch!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Food was delicious, service was slow (which always seems to be the case at Daisies which is annoying since they charge 25% for it) Pastries were awesome.

Brunch was phenomenal. Surprised more people don't go to the bar for service, the bartenders and service were amazing and there was no need for reservations there. Highly recommend!

Daisies is outstanding! We loved our food, especially the black truffle ravioli and the rigatoni. The onion dip was a fun and tasty starter. Our service was very friendly and professional. Our evening was great.
