Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.

Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.

Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays.
Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day.
Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day.
We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served.

Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : This Logan Square pasta spot got a fresh start in a spacious home in 2023, after which it nabbed raves from the Chicago Tribune and a MICHELIN Green Star for sustainability. Much of the produce at this Italian-by-way-of-the-Midwest restaurant comes from chef Joe Frillman's brother's farm outside Chicago. Find it in playful dishes like onion dip with housemade Ruffles, fritto misto with cheese curds, and pierogi with mussels and beer.

Little disappointed. Love the idea but…entrees served before we were served our wine. Service little slow The mushroom pappardelle was outstanding

I finally was able to make a reservation and it was absolutely worth the wait. Loved the experience. We didn’t have any disappointments with the food. Everything we tried was delicious. Besides the appetizers, we order 3 very different pastas and they were amazing. Also the apple pie was worth it at the end. Thank you Nick, our server, for a great evening.

fantastic food. Shared frito misto, onion dip, the tomato, rigatoni, spaghetti, cavatelli and the butter cake. No bad bites. excellent service.

Service was fantastic, but the food was so salty that we almost sent it back. The kitchen should taste the pastas and note the high sodium levels. Definitely took away some of the subtleties of the otherwise nicely flavored dishes.

Amazing meal as usual. Surprising new plates for us (Raviolis, the bone marrow appetizer), and excellent classics (Mushroom Papardelle!)

Daisies is one of the most innovative concept restaurants I've attended. Midwest staples as if they were located in Italy. The wait staff were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The food was out of this world. My favorite dish was the rigatoni with house-made pasta and fermented tomatoes. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. The sour cream and onion dip with house-made ruffled potato chips, complemented with your choice of caviar was a true indulgence. The ridiculously overpriced tomato was superb on fresh bread and balsamic...totally enhanced a locally grown heirloom tomatoes. I only eat tomatoes in summer when they are full of flavor and somehow they made the flavor even better than could be expected. Absolutely loved it so much had to come back the next evening to share with other visiting family members. I appreciate the included 25% tip for all the staff working that evening. Very humane and fair. Our server was so delightful we had to tip extra in cash. Highly recommend.
