Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.

Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.

Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays.
Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day.
Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day.
We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served.

Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : This Logan Square pasta spot got a fresh start in a spacious home in 2023, after which it nabbed raves from the Chicago Tribune and a MICHELIN Green Star for sustainability. Much of the produce at this Italian-by-way-of-the-Midwest restaurant comes from chef Joe Frillman's brother's farm outside Chicago. Find it in playful dishes like onion dip with housemade Ruffles, fritto misto with cheese curds, and pierogi with mussels and beer.

There were 6 of us for dinner. We were able to have great conversation, noise level was great. Food & service were impeccable. Server was very friendly and professional. Food was fantastic.

Really great service and food (and really really great cocktails and desserts)! Had to wait ~20 minutes after our reservation to get seated (and we showed up extra early on top of that), but otherwise a very wonderful birthday dinner

Pasta was absolutely amazing especially the Stracci with lamb. Incredible. Nicholas was so attentive and key to placing our orders.

All the pasta dishes are excellent! The rotating cocktail menu is also stellar. Our current favorite Chicago date night spot.

My friend asked me to pick a number between 1-50. Without thought, #37 I blurted out. #37 happened to be Daisies. Served tapas/small plate style, our meal was just the perfect amount of food for 2. He ordered our dinner as I wanted to be surprised in what we were eating. He DID NOT disappoint. The overpriced tomato, ravioli, pappardelle and the grilled 1/2 chicken we shared. Amazing. As our phenomenal server said- ‘we offer lots of mixed flavors, you just have to lean into it,”. We sat in the back. The back of the restaurant, where we sat, was cozy, quiet, and had a chill vibe. The front of the restaurant was a bit too noisy for us ‘older patrons.’ Every table was full! #37 did not disappoint! They have a great backstory as to where they gets most of their produce. The freshness you can taste. The delicate care of food is clearly visible upon delivery. The serving staff seemed to work corrosive with little errors. I urge you to tryy. Great experience. Thank You
