Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.

Our bakery and cafe serves La Colombe Coffee alongside an array of pastries and sandwiches crafted by Chef Leigh Omilinksy.

Dinner reservations are available Tuesday - Sunday; we are closed for dinner service on Mondays.
Our cafe operates from 7:00am - 3:00pm every day.
Lunch is available from 11:00am - 2:00pm every day.
We do not take lunch or cafe reservations, it is first come first served.

Please note that there will be a 25% service charge applied to all bills. This goes to pay our staff equitably as well as provide health and other benefits not typically offered in restaurants.

Much of the produce at this Italian-by-way-of-the-Midwest restaurant comes from chef Joe Frillman's brother's farm outside Chicago. Find it in playful dishes like onion dip with housemade Ruffles, fritto misto with cheese curds, and pierogi with mussels and beer.

Ring in the new year with everyone’s favorite Logan Square neighborhood spot known for its Midwest-inspired, vegetable and pasta-focused dishes, Daisies! This year, join Chef Joe Frillman, Chef de Cuisine Thomas Leonard and Pastry/Dessert wizard Leigh Omilinsky, as they present a three-course menu featuring handcrafted, locally sourced dishes to kick off a new year where everything will be coming up Daisies! For just $75 dollars per person, diners will select from a handful of options for the first two savory courses, as well as a choice of final dessert course, all with vegetarian substitutes if needed. The $20 per person payment will go towards the final bill of $75 per person.

The food, as usual was delicious! It was our first time having brunch though and it was fabulous. The service was great.

This place is fantastic! Don’t let the unassuming old school diner look fool you - food and service here were top notch. Took my bestie here for her first night out since having a baby and although we may not have, this place kept it classy! Our group of 4 arrived, having already imbibed, quite rambunctious and ready to take it further. The server handled us and the situation with grace. Yasmin was kind and patient as she took our order and played it cool when the topic of drinks came up. Without drawing attention, they kept the waters flowing and the fried appetizers coming. The food was a surprise and delight as each dish ordered arrived looking different than any of us had imagined. Potted carrots, frito misto, and the grapes in the ravioli were just a few of the delights. Was it the pre-game, or is this a fun menu? We may never know. That said, they didn’t make a scene when my friend lost her napkin 6x or had red lipstick on her face and hands, or when the new mom pulled the pumps off at the table. If you saw us, no you didn’t. While we eventually redeemed ourselves enough to be allowed 1 round of drinks with our pasta dishes, we left quietly and on our own accord, ensuring Yasmin was given an additional tip on top of the included 25% gratuity. Thanks for having us and treating us with care. We love you, Daisies!

Exceptional experience! Great food, outstanding service. Felt like I was in a family friend’s house for dinner. Fantastic and will definitely be back for more!!

It was my friend‘s milestone birthday. They treated us great, from the champagne toast to the little complementary dessert. The food was delicious. The service was great. And they made it a great special occasion for her. Plus, we did not have to wait for our reservation, which is rare these days. We will be back.

My second time eating there and it was just as wonderful as the first. Excellent service and every dish is so thoughtful and comforting.

I was so excited to try Daisy’s after seeing it on many lists and reviews but honestly it’s nothing to write home about. The service was amazing, i will say. The food though - not amazing. I would really only go back if someone paid me to. There felt to be a real disconnect all around. However, our server was great and deserves a raise.
