Food is average at best and overpriced. I was unimpressed with everything. Atmosphere is good and service was acceptable.

Service was a little slow to begin with as we waited for about 40 minutes from sitting down to ordering entrees. I had to head over to the host stand and request a manager since we had waiting so long. Once that happened, our server became more attentive. Food was absolutely delicious.

The restaurant was understaffed and they didn’t inform us before being seated. Everything took too long. The waiter was kind and friendly, but the management put him in a position where he couldn’t keep up with all of the patio patrons. Poor management choice. The kid’s Mac and cheese was dry and the kid’s chicken nuggets had a burnt flavor. Adult meals were delicious as always. We’ve been here multiple times with a great experience. This was the first time we wanted to include our kids and it was disappointing.

Service was fine. Food was just ok. Had high hopes for the deviled eggs but too much vinegar/sour made them off. My husband had never met a deviled egg that he didn’t like until now. Oysters were very small. Not well shucked. Probably won’t be back.

Food was good but service was extremely slow and kitchen was slow as well. Over 2 hours for a meal for 4 people is ridiculous. I wanted a dessert for my birthday but I didn’t have time to wait the 30 mins between each course and drinks. It looked to be understaffed but also the servers had no hustle so that added to the wait time. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want a super leisurely meal and have no other plans for the day.

My husband and I met a couple of friends at Daily Gather for dinner. We all enjoyed our meals. We ordered from the Houston restaurant week menu. Three of us ordered the steak frites, and another ordered the cheese burger. I also enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert.

We had dinner here as part of Restaurant Month and the food was beautiful and great value for the amount you got. We were so full, we couldn’t eat dessert so ended up bringing it home. We will definitely eat here again.

I can’t speak for the entire menu or what you’ll experience from various bartenders or servers however the thee eggs menu item and the two waiters that I’ve experienced so far were exceptional.
