                                                            Amazing experience at Daikaya! We were seated immediately and our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the food and provided excellent recommendations. Every item that came out was perfect. 10/10!

                                                            Terrific selection of Japanese whiskeys. Enough variations of dining choices to please. Without an overwhelming selection. It is always fun and interesting to try and share many small plates. Our waiter Eric and the rest of the staff was amazing. Kept the drinks and food what seemed effortlessly flowing. We were surprised at the value we got for our dollar.

                                                            One of our favorite restaurants in DC! The staff is really knowledgeable about the menu and the food is delicious! Definitely a cool spot to take your friends who are from out of town :)

                                                            Horrible service. Let us make a reservation for 9–mentioned a 15 minute grace period. Called them to confirm as well. We arrive at 9:03, they deny us a table and say they closed at 9.

                                                            This was my second time at Daikaya. Both times the food and service were amazing. The fried chicken wings are a great choice but there are tons of great vegetarian options. The shiitake mushroom skewers and grilled avocados are my favorites.

                                                            Thank you team Daiyaka! This was our best dining experience in D.C. - the food is so creative (managing to hew to the classics) that we wanted to return a few more times (we will, definitely, on our next trip). Our Server paced our meal perfectly and the atmosphere defies you not to have a GREAT time. 5+ stars!
