We have focused solely on serving the best Korean ribeye steak since 1964. At Daedo, our Meat Master takes time trimming unnecessary fat from our steaks.

Daedo Sikdang is more of a Korean steakhouse than what most Americans think of when they think of a Korean BBQ restaurant. They specialize in ribeye, serving it in three different parts. There’s also a thin-cut version. So if you’re looking for top-quality meats expertly prepared at your table, then this is your place. I love the pared-down menu that really lets the meat take center stage. The ambiance is refined but not stuffy, making it a great place for families. They have special plates and utensils for the little ones. Overall I highly recommend this place. It’s one of my go-to spots to bring visitors from out of town, for an experience that’s hard to find outside of LA.

Great restaurant. It’s its own vibe. Brightly lit, mad numbers of servers, piles of beautiful meats, the cold noodles, with cold broth. Everything feels sharp, accurate, controlled. Modern Koreatown at its most efficient. No bs. but still feels luxurious and like a special night out. Great bulgogi. Do not skip the soft serve dessert.

I understand quality of meat cannot be always the same however, portion/ thickness of Daedo Cut has decreased. Other than that it was good.

We used to come here often and forgot why we stopped coming here and so gave it a try again. We ordered 2 of their special cuts and 2 classic cuts for 5 of us. So within 30 minutes they cooked everything in a rush and dumped it on side plates. They used to cook it slower and then put it on a tiny rack in the grill so it doesn’t get cold. So we ordered 1 more special cut, noodles and fried rice. I asked them to please slow it down but same thing cooked fast and dumped on the side plates. We were allowed 2 hours but we were done with cooking and eating in 1 hour and 10 minutes. We went to their new Karaoke. Got a room, very comfortable and high end. Ordered 2 Don Julio 1942 for $1,200. There was a fruit and meat/cheese boards in the room already but they charged us $100 for this. Normally these items shouldn’t be charged when they weren’t ordered and especially we spent $1,200 in alcohol already. We had to keep asking for ice and other chaser items. Nobody came to the room to check on us. I didn’t want to complain since it was a company outing however I will not be back nor recommend this place. Overpriced because of the lack of service.
