From the moment you walk into Dacosta’s Pizza Bakery and see the wood-burning oven and our master pizza makers, you realize this is more than just another pizza joint.

At Dacosta’s we use the finest imported and locally-sourced ingredients, along with centuries-old artisan traditions to bring the definitive Neapolitan pizza experience to our guest in Worcester.

All of our pizzas are expertly crafted to order and cooked in our 850 degree, wood-burning oven for less than 2 minutes, slightly charring the crust, while leaving the inside light, airy and full of flavor. We also offer other Italian specialties such as calzones, pasta, meatballs, cannolis, and espresso. Everything at Dacosta’s is made fresh…we don’t even own a freezer! And our restaurant is BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite adult beverages!

Our dough is made in-house daily using all natural "00" flour imported from italy. We use a sourdough starter that allows our dough to rise slowly and grain flavor over 48 hours. Our pizzas are fired in a custom built wood-fried oven from Naples, Italy that reaches 900 degrees and cooks our pizza in 90 seconds or less for a delicate and light, slightly charred dough

Ran out of gluten free dough-main reason for going. Simply unacceptable an a Sat. Night. Service slow, haphazard and discourteous. Will never return despite high hope for the place.

I can’t believe we have not been here sooner. We have heard great reviews for a couple years. Fantastic thin crust pizza. Lots of options. Salads too. BYOB for the win.

I was very disappointed that some favorites were no longer offered; e.g. the fried artichokes appetizer and the zeppole dessert. These were items that made the restaurant stand-out as unique from the typical Italian restaurant fare.

We are in the habit of going to Dacosta’s every Friday night with family. The food is consistently excellent! Our favorite pizza is the Uncle Tony’s Roni with arugula. The chopped antipasto is brimming with flavor, from the meats and greens to the fresh mozzarella balls. Our favorite app is the Aroncini, served with fresh tasting marinara. So good, with perfect crusty outside layer and creamy Arborio rice inside. This place never disappoints! Wait staff are friendly and professional, and the time from order placed until food on the table is minimal! We also love that we can bring our favorite beverages, usually beer from Greater Good across the street. The only drawback is the noise level when the restaurant is crowded on a Friday night. Otherwise, I highly recommend Decosta!

The food was good, it's always good! They were a bit short on wait staff that night, but we were a very large group so I'll cut them some slack on that! I will say that it's too bad the ping-pong/party room is so run down, it was a great idea when it started-nice tables/paddles. But now, there wasn't even one good paddle and only one of the 4 tables was playable (2 warped and one with no net).
