Dinner was so special and the food was fantastic. Barbara puts so much love into her delicious cooking and is a lovely host. Highly recommend this place and we'll be back!

Amazing experience! It looks like you are having dinner in someone fancy kitchen were you get spoiled and the food it’s incredible delicious. We had the home made ricotta with peach jam (I am still thinking of it) and the lemon tagliolini. Everything is home made including the bread. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant at the same time. Be sure you get the spot in advance because it’s get full booked easily. I can’t wait to come back

Dining at Da Barbara is always a new opportunity for discovery. Chef Barbara pours her heart and soul into every detail of the dining experience. From the freshly baked crusty bread that reminds us of Italian bakeries and their inviting aromas spreading all around the streets, to the background music and the immaculate space. The food, now with the new summer menu items, shines as always. The new tuna tartar was a melt-in-your-mouth taste explosion! Every ingredient had a story. I had the good luck of trying a new pasta item she will soon be introducing: handmade fiorellini with Barolo reduction. A standout! Whether you are looking to celebrate something or simply for truly delicious and dynamic Italian cuisine, this is your place. Hear me out!

We really enjoyed our intimate dining experience with Barbara. It was a meal we’ll remember forever and we can’t wait to come back and try more of her offerings. The passion and attention is hard to put into words, but it’s one of the most unique nights I’ve had in LA.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The ambiance is elegant without being fussy which is due in no small part to Chef Barbara herself. Go on a weeknight and you'll get a chance to chat with this absolute gem of a human being. She delivers course after course of thoughtfully crafted Italian cuisine emphasizing simplicity and technique. The concept itself works well and everything about Da Barbara feels intentional and cohesive. I suggest opting for the green room - I mean who wouldn't want to dine on a velvet couch? I would have paid twice what she charges for such an exceptional tasting menu. Will definitely be returning soon.

We had a wonderful culinary experience at Da Barbara! From the moment we first walked into what appears to be a townhouse, we were greeted enthusiastically and made to feel though we were their most important guests. Barbara was cooking just 10 feet from us in the most intimate setting and the wait staff was delightful. The food was clearly home cooked from the heart and tasted absolutely wonderful. I felt very special to have had a meal from Da Barbara but it wasn’t just a meal—it was a memorable experience. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

An experience! It’s rare to have such a quaint, intimate and fine experience as this in LA. I don’t want too carry a bow horn and announce everywhere because we will never get a booking once this place is fully discovered! Bravo Barbara!

Barbara is an amazing cook! You feel like you are sitting in Rome or Venice eating an authentic Italian meal. Watching her cook your food in the kitchen was so personal and quaint. Paulo our server is amazing as well. He always made sure our water glass was filled and each dish was served with care and a smile. Will definitely be back with my family.
