Perfection. The only word to describe the meals, the ambiance, the service, and most importantly, Chef Barbara!!!! Very few restaurants in Los Angeles capture the heart and soul of Italian cuisine and one of those spots is Da Barbara. Watching her work her magic and witnessing how she puts her love into her cooking was so wonderful. She’s who I think of when customers want to observe passionate chefs working in an open kitchen. You cannot go wrong with whatever you choose to indulge in, from her antipasti’s to her main dishes, and you MUST order her fresh house-made ricotta!! 10/10 experience and cannot wait to come back with friends and family.

Loved this little gem…What we ordered for a birthday celebration… Focaccia 3/5 overly salted Arancini balls 5/5 crispy & subtle flavor Fried oyster mushroom with peas 5/5 Seasonal Salad 4/5 light & refreshing Tagliolini lemon pasta 5/5 surprisingly delish Pomodoro tortelli 4/5 Filet mignonette 4/5 soft & subtle flavor Sea bass 4/5 soft & flakey Scalloped potatoes 3/5 light subtle flavor Strawberry semifreddo 4/5 Torta della gonna 4/5 not overly sweet We sat at the chef’s table so if you get a chance to book this seating option, do it. It was great seeing the chef cook right in front of us. And her staff of two was so sweet, kind & friendly. Will definitely go back to see what else the chef comes up with.

The restaurant is very clean, modern and elegant. I surprised my wife with a reservation and she absolutely loved it. The food was freshly made and the portions were perfect in size. We will definitely return again along with some of our friends.

Amazing experience! Right at home and cute little place. Definitely recommend! Me and my sister went and sat in the chef seating and it was such a cute experience. Food came out super good It is a bring your own wine just a FYI! There good about letting you know ahead of time. Highly recommend!

It was our second dining experience at Da Barbara and it was as wonderful as the first one. Dishes are consistently top-notch, the freshness of the ingredients and the presentation are top notch. Love the new tortellini and the filet mignon is now available also without prosciutto - my wife loved the option as she cannot eat pork. It still melts in your mouth. We also found out that she can accommodate parties of 12+ and even customize the menu for a special occasion. We are thinking of going back for my birthday coming up in September. BYOB as they don’t have a wine license. But do try the Crodino aperitif like if you were in Italy and of course save room for the semifreddo… Thank you, Barbara 👩🏼‍🍳, we will be back soon !

Simply magic! These are the words I would use to describe my experience at Da Barbara. Magical were the elegant atmosphere, the quality of the food and the warmth and happy presence of Barbara! So happy I shared this experience with my sons!

The whole thing is a very cute idea. It is though extremely quiet, you can hear every single conversation in the restaurant. The atmosphere is such of a spa not necessarily a restaurant, an Italian one at such the food was OK, well I come back again? Not if it's out of my way. Tuna tartare has way too many flavors also, there are no drinks in there only water

We are in the process of obtaining a liquor license; we encourage our guests to bring their own drinks to enjoy with their meals. We take great pride in crafting innovative flavor combinations. We love experimenting with unexpected elements, such as a refreshing melon granita sprinkled over a tuna tartare with gel infused with bergamot. Your observation that the dish had abundant flavors perfectly matched our vision. I was surprised to see the two-star rating in your review, given the many positive comments you shared, particularly about the diverse flavors and the tranquil ambiance.
