great italian spot in nyc! our waitress grace was very attentive and helpful , made sure we had a really wonderful evening :)

A very good meal with good service and selection. The space was certainly more beautiful in its earlier art deco iteration as Viceroy, but even the heavy-handed "Italian Rustic" renovation still benefits from the bright corner location with windows along the long wall of the side street. The only hitch was the iced coffee, most bitter and acidic I've ever had.

Da Andrea Chelsea exceeded all my expectations! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance made us feel right at home. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail of our dining experience was perfect. The food was nothing short of spectacular—each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the specials showcased a level of creativity and passion that’s rare to find. We also loved the extensive wine list, which paired beautifully with our meal. This is truly a gem in the city, ideal for everything from intimate dinners to special celebrations. I can’t wait to return and bring more friends and family to experience the magic of Da Andrea Chelsea! Highly recommend!

We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. While we appreciated the glass of champagne from the host, the loud, crowded atmosphere didn't quite set the tone for a romantic date night. Although the interior was beautiful, the food didn't meet expectations. The carbonara didn't taste authentic and instead seemed more like jarred Alfredo sauce. We decided to send it back, and opted for the pappardelle instead, but unfortunately, it was just mediocre—lacking flavor and with overcooked pasta. To top it off, we didn’t receive an apology from the manager, which was disappointing. For $30 pasta, I would go somewhere else next time.

Amazing Italian in Chelsea. Squid ink vongole was amazing as was the ravioli!

Great ambiance and service! I went with a small group of friends to celebrate my birthday and the staff was very attentive. Our server Kadir was nice enough to bring out a birthday dessert!

Food was great, friendly staff, fast service, nice ambiance. Made a reservation for 6:15pm on a Friday, at 6:50pm they started coming around every 5 minutes trying to take our plates and clean our table up. Felt very rushed throughout. Ended up ordering more drinks hoping to make it stop, worked for maybe ten minutes before they started trying to rush us out again. We ordered entrees , drinks, and sides. Wasn’t like we were wasting their time.

We made this reservation weeks in advance of our trip, based on a friend’s rec. we were seated by the door at a very small table. We ordered drinks, which were good and then placed our dinner order. Our soup came out Luke warm/ cold. Sent it back and said we did not want another bowl. The manager brought out the soup again to us and it was our previous bowls, microwaved😑. Our dinner was just basic, lacking flavor. Would not recommend this place

Excellent food and service for our lunch. We were on the early side so it was quiet and attractive restaurant.
