CUT by Wolfgang Puck offers a sophisticated and modern design, refined service, and the absolute finest selections of beef. The dinner menu reflects the unique spirit and sensibility of the Washington metropolitan area, with both the menu and design drawing inspiration from the surrounding Georgetown neighborhood.

CUT restaurant features two stunning bars: one guests will find upon entering CUT, while the other sits atop the hotel on a magnificent deck overlooking the city. Both will serve custom bespoke cocktails, wine, beer, and an extensive food menu. An intimate 14-seat private dining space also will be available for special events, meetings, and celebrations.

Because of the limited space in our dining room, any cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation may trigger a $25 per person cancellation fee. Guests may bring their own wine, as long as the wine is not on our wine list, limited to 2 bottles per table, and subject to a corkage fee of $45 per bottle / $90 per magnum.

We had a lovely table next to windows looking out at green space next to the C&O Canal. Nice wine selection and mocktails to choose from. Bread selection is a must have. We had the endive caesar and bibb lettuce salads; each were fine. Husband had the Australian Wagyu, probably the most tender piece of beef ever experienced. I had mini crab cakes and hamachi sashimi. The sashimi was kind of a flavor explosion - different and very enjoyable. Had the mignardises for dessert which was just the small sweetness needed to end the meal. Plus to our surprise we received a complimentary chocolate mousse with a chocolate banner and heart in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Cut is a spectacular choice for a special occasion meal.

Everything was fine, but overall felt uninspired. For the prices they are charging, I would have expected better variety. There are plenty of steakhouses that will charge you $20 less per steak, offer far more in the way of sides and starters, and still deliver a stellar experience. We had a nice meal, but I wouldn't go back.

It was a wonderful meal and great atmosphere…great sushi, filet mignon, wagu bolognese, and delicious chicken … nice wine selection.

Truly delicious food from start to finish. Great service. Filet, Mac & cheese, creamed spinach and peppercorn sauce. Apple tart for dessert.

The steak was perfectly cooked, I felt as though because we had a child with us we were put in the bar area which was secluded. The portion for the a la carte items seemed a bit small. We ordered a shrimp cocktail it had 3 shrimp on it. The ambience was great and steak and fries were delicious. It was Father’s Day so the menu was limited, I was hoping for more options. And I was unaware but gratuity is already charged at the end of your meal, which is fine but it was just a surprise especially for a party of 2.

My two teenage sons and I celebrated Father's Day brunch at CUT by Wolfgang Puck, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, with each dish absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. The jazz duo added a great touch, creating a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere. Unlike traditional buffets that can be overwhelming with too many choices, CUT offered just the right amount of food, allowing us to enjoy each dish without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, it was a wonderful brunch, and I will definitely be back. CUT by Wolfgang Puck is highly recommended for its excellent food, outstanding service, and great ambiance.

Poor service, way overpriced for what it is. It’s borderline obnoxious. Ran out of desserts, overcharged us for a couple of things. Could have easily made it right but didn’t. Took almost 3 hours for 2 of us to eat. There are far better choices for a good dinner in DC.

The food was very light and tasty. We had the chicken and cod and both were very well seasoned but at the same time very light. Something one expects from Wolfgang Puck.
