CUT by Wolfgang Puck offers a sophisticated and modern design, refined service, and the absolute finest selections of beef. Our fine-dining dinner menu reflects the unique spirit and sensibility of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, with both the menu and design drawing inspiration from the surrounding Georgetown neighborhood.

CUT restaurant features two stunning bars: one guests will find upon entering CUT, while the other sits atop the hotel on a magnificent deck overlooking the city. Both will serve custom bespoke cocktails, wine, beer, and an extensive food menu. An intimate 14-seat private dining space also will be available for special events, meetings, and celebrations.

Due to limited space, any cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation may trigger a $25 per person cancellation fee. Guests may bring their own wine, as long as the wine is not on our wine list, limited to 2 bottles per table, and subject to a corkage fee of $45 per bottle / $90 per magnum.

    We ordered two steaks medium well, both came out more medium than welll. The crab cakes smelled fishy. When comparing this to the average steak house it was mid but when you calculate the price vs quality, it was well below average. Service was good buy yeah, we won’t be back.

    We chose Cut for a 18 year anniversary celebration. 3 close friend couples so total of 6. We love wine so I planned taking 2006 vintage bottles, a mix of Champagne and Napa Cabs to pair with food. Called ahead to check on corkage policy; “no limit of bottles” was the response i got. We we planned for 4 bottles again all 2006 to celebrate the year we got married. We were having a great time until it came to opening the 4th bottle. A manager came out and said they only allow two and would not open it, we explained we had call and she said that was a mistake by her staff so we had to order off their list. We debated with her a few mins and were quite upset. She had ruined the occassion. Loscar our waiter (experienced) showed up with the bottled decanted and served us!! He made the call on his own apparently. Loscar was fantastic and the manager had poor judgment. Appetizers were absolutlely fantastic while the steaks could have been better. Overall it was pricey at around $500 per couple. Mixed experience and not sure i would come back!!

    The experience was EPIC! The quality of the meal, attentiveness of service, artful presentation, the graciousness of Luke - the Restaurant Director - makes CUT the only place we want to go to for celebrations. My partner and I travel the world dining at some of the best restaurants and we consistently find CUT to be the best steak and elevated service. Last night's meal was so phenomenal that I am intimidated to prepare dinner for my partner tonight. Thank you CUT!

    Love everything about it. Exceptional service, delicious food, the old fashions are probably one of the best I’ve had. The ambiance is great, you can still hear the people at your table. Our server Pink always had a smile on her face and was very polite. Will definitely be back!
