Food good. Friendly welcome from John the owner. Main irritation was staff noisily clearing cutlery and glasses from tables at 7:30pm to prepare for breakfast.

Excellent restaurant. Good choice of high end food as well as bar menu which we ate in the restaurant. Friendly staff

The waitress was attentive and lovely. I ordered the super food salad, which had kale, endemame beans, grapes, blueberries and dried cranberries in it, plus I ordered the extra king prawns. I asked the waiter if it was a good size and he said it was. The prawns were fine, but the salad was terrible. There was way too much fruit and only three small bits of kale in it, so so it was more like a fruit salad than a savoury main course. The endamame beans were shrivelled and old looking and most of the grapes had gone brown. It was also a small, cereal bowl sized portion. I complained and the very nice waitress was very sorry and asked if would like something else. I ordered a mushroom omlette, without the fries. The omelette was very skinny, but edible. The rocket it came with looked like it should have been binned a week ago, but I didn't complain again because I felt sorry for the waitress - it isn't her fault that the kitchen have such poor standards. When I go the bill she had not charged me for any of the food, so that was something, but I will never eat there again.

Just average food that did not live up to the name. Was unimpressed by the food. Menu choices were poor and poorly executed flavour wise. Flavours were non existent. Very bland. Expected better menu choices. Like Lamb chops, baby potatoes, steamed red cabbage, steak and Ale pie, pork chops or roast beef, Yorkshire pudding. Instead ... a slab of boiled fish floating in a sea of pea soup covered in chorizo pieces... everything so bland. No pop in flavours. Need a change of menu cooked by someone who is familiar with the dishes. Lamb option was abysmal. Eaton mess was chewy and bland. Neddy a microscope to see the passion fruit jus. Never eating dinner here again.

Interesting menu - implementation very underwhelming. Overpriced relative to the indifferent quality of the meals.

Lovely waiting staff and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and friendly. My starters of Pork Belly was a bit Luke warm but still tasty and my main course of Plaice Filet was delicious. Definitely be back soon.

Breakfast was certainly overcooked. The black pudding you could have knocked someone out with or cracked a tooth! Very average. Too small a catering area for sure.

We had a wonderful welcome in the restaurant and the staff were friendly and helpful in helping us to make our choices for what eat and very good on customer service. The food we had was excellent and would recommend. Our experience of the restaurant was amazing and the service we received was excellent and the food was excellent to.
