Food was good, but very small portions for the price. We were there for dinner during live music(which was good music) but too loud for conversation. Service took a while but it was crowded. Service was good.

Fun inviting HUGE restaurant. Lot of spirits to choose from. Menu has a variety of food but when the drink menu has more options than the food you recognize it's more for social and spirits. Food was good - had the pasta bolognese and fried chicken. Wait staff were responsive to fill drinks (water/ice tea) Only reason I gave 4⭐️ and not 5 was because we made reservations for 730 and weren't seated till 8. The staff and manager did both come and apologize for the wait which was very courteous

Hostess and the gal that seated us were two of the nicest girls ever! I wish I got their names, super sweet. The girl who sat us complimented my hair and it was just so kind. It started off our birthday date night perfectly. I love that you guys read our comments about this being my husbands birthday, our server made it a thing to bring it up and wish him well. Awesome date night, I just wish I didn’t order the curry dish but I should’ve known better lol.

Food and service were excellent. But those metal chairs are super uncomfortable, and although they have some tables with nicer chairs, we always seem to get placed at tables with the metal chairs.

Awesome atmosphere in downtown Gilbert! Highly suggested to make a reservation, as it's in the middle of a very busy, high-traffic area. Culinary was clean, very relaxing and inviting place, with live music and no shortage of seating. The staff was extremely helpful, very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, as it's all delicious! Phenomenal beverage selections as well!

We typically love dining at Culinary Dropout for any occasion (from life celebrations to the end of the work week), but our last visit was our first sour note in a decade of patronage. We started off with a grand start: Open Table reservation with a perfect table to watch the MLB Final - kid you not; tv placed perfectly in front of our booth patio seating, we thanked our host and joyfully shared with our server our thrill of the prime location of our table & TV location to watch the game, the entire restaurant was buzzing while watching the game - they even placed the live music on hold. We had tasty cocktails (Classic Old Fashioned), the pretzel fondue, Korean ribeye cap (still available +), perfectly cooked fried chicken with the best coleslaw, and the unique caramelized banana bar dessert. As the meal was concluding (dessert) and the game went into extra innings - bottom of the 10th with Ohtani on deck, abruptly the game was changed to a Suns’ game in the 3rd quarter. WHAT?! We asked one of the servers if we could get the TV changed back to the MLB game. He was even baffled why the game was changed. Next, a host or floor manager came by and said the guests who they just sat table next to us requested the Sun’s game. We explained we were enjoying watching the entire game, and now it’s in extra innings, bottom of the 10th with one out two runners on, and the major hitter was on deck. We stated that we wanted to see the MLB game outcome, and the Suns game can quickly resume shortly after this inning. She turned to the new guests and apologized to them and walked away from our table in a huff. Fortunately, the channel changed back to the MLB game, we saw the Dodgers win with a grand slam, and shared with the mass of patrons cheering. As we gathered our items, the TV went back to the Suns game, and we left our table. All in all, my husband and I reflected on our own food service experience and duly noted the host/management’s mishandling of the customer experience.
