The appetizer and drinks were great. Our server appeared to be handling the entire restaurant and as a result the wait times for drinks and food were quite long despite the restaurant being quite empty. The dish I had ordered several times prior came to me completely charred almost entirely burned. They re-made the bread and forgot to bring it out. I was offered a complimentary dessert that was so burned that I nearly chipped my tooth. We will not be back.

Parking is a bit of a hassle in this area. Our waiter never offered dessert or anything else after our dinner. He was more interested in taking care of a table full of young ladies. The au jus with the French dip,was only lukewarm warm, and the food took way to long to arrive at the table.

We had the crispy popcorn shrimp appetizer, which was alright, the roasted garlic aioli lacked any garlic flavor. The turkey pastrami was really good and the mongolian short rib was hearty. our appetizer came out very quickly but we waited an unreasonably long time for our entrees. probably wouldn't go out of our way to visit again.

Food and service were great. The noise level was beyond "energetic" to truly awful. I like the place overall but the noise makes it impossible to have a conversation.

Bar and kitchen seemed a little slow. Holiday time can do that to a restaurant- we enjoyed ourselves very much.

We were so looking forward in coming here at the Denver location after eating in one the restaurants in the Phoenix area. But the food was not the caliber of the Phoenix location. Not bad, but not great. The ambience was fine, not very many people, but that was okay. The vibe in Phoenix was bustling. Maybe this is such a new location, it needs time. Our waitress had to go back and ask about gluten free dishes. A major negative not having the GF items identified on the menu and then to have the waitress have to go back and ask multiple times. She was very nice though, trying to help us out. You need to have more GF options available in Denver. Us GF people know that deep fried means cross contamination. If I remember correctly the Phoenix location had the GF items identified on the menu. I hope this gets rectified as we really want to come her and have this restaurant succeed !!! It was so fun in Phoenix !!

Our first time at Culinary Dropout. Love the design – bar area, wintertime enclosed patio, large kitchen viewable through full length windows, and live music, not blaring. The servers were excellent, but the pace of service is quite leisurely, so this is probably not the place to come if you are on a tight timetable. The menu is quite varied and the food is excellent.
