    This was our second visit, we had gone once before and had a really good experience. So we decided to have dinner for my birthday there and this visit but not the same experience. Our server was pleasant and did his job but service was super slow. We were there almost 2 hours to get a just burger and a salad and they were not that busy. I had the burger and half of it was burnt, to the point burnt was all you tasted. My husband's salad was ok, but not 20.00 ok. The beers had a metallic taste to them which I believe had to come from the glasses as I had two different types of beer. I had seen several reviews where people commented on the birthday dessert they were given we were offered the dessert menu to purchase one if liked. No mention of the bday even though it was referenced in the reservation. Pretty sure that will be our last visit as the value for the money is just not there and the food is just mediocre.

    First time to visit and we were underwhelmed. Arrived for a 6:30 reservation and they were already out of soup, steak frites, duck, and one other entree item. Also told it would be 30 minutes for pizza dough to rise. Maybe they were just having a bad day. We probably won’t run back.

I am sorry that you were disappointed with your first visit with us and I think if it was my first visit yesterday I would have been disappointed too. Unfortunately, we had some equipment failure and out of an abundance of caution for our guests we decided it was best to remove a few items from our menu.     First and most likely last visit - Two of us were celebrating birthdays - I really would have loved to give CD an excellent review but truth matters . . Pros: The service was very good They apologized and did try. The flavor of what I ended up settling with was tasty. Con: Not the spectacular meal I was hoping for ..for the price - Food was warmish NOT hot.. front Doors open, we were seated in the back , we were repeatedly swatting flies from our food .I can understand eating outside and this being an issue but inside it was annoying .. I guess the doors open is their thing .. Everything I originally ordered was not available and that was the most disappointing from entree to dessert CD failed . Apologies were given , and the substitutes were ok..

    Good experience for third visit. Rich Mississippi mud pie complimentary for birthday. Fried chicken biscuit brunch and kale salad was delish. Food not fast but good!

    It was a mediocre dining experience at best. Only slightly better than a Chili’s or an O’Charlie’s (the ingredient quality was the better part) but for a restaurant that is charging as if it can hang with the best of Birmingham it can not. Not one dish came to our table that was delicious. It was just OK. There are too many options for delicious food or cheaper food to spend too dollar for mediocre.
